Cherry Tree Barn is a luxury 2 bedroom holiday let perfectly placed for days out to Bowood House, Lacock Abbey, Longleat, Avebury, Stonehenge and the wonderful city of Bath. Or you can relax at home by the pool, enjoy the stunning views and large wooded gardens and play a spot of tennis if the mood takes you!

“Fabulous Family Holiday”

We are just back from a fantastic week at Cherry Tree Barn in beautiful Wiltshire. The barn was a superb and very comfortable base for us. Every little detail was thought of the small things like cooking oil, welcome pack with tea coffee and milk and enough loo rolls for the week made the difference for us. Our children made use of the pool most days despite the mixed weather due to the lovely temperature of the pool which was extremely warm. We made various day trips including: City of bath, legoland (1hr and a half drive), bowood house, longleat safari park, Lacock Abbey, Castle Coombe Village and Dryham Park. Marion was very helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed a nice meal at the Dumb Post Inn at the top of the hill.

“Lovely family break”

From first contact we received professional and friendly information from the owners including personal emails! On arrival we were greeted by Marion who was lovely and very informative. The cottage, views and facilities surpassed our expectations. As we were so lucky with the weather the tennis court right outside our door, pool and barbecue got used. The cottage has everything you could possibly need including washing machine, dish washer and fan. Nice little touched like thick towels, shower gel and beach towels too! There is lots to do within an hour and a bit drive, we enjoyed the Cotswolds, Cotswold animal park, bowood house and gardens, lacock and Weston super mare ! Only thing we could recommend is a curtain or blind goes back on the door, as if you are lucky with the weather the tv is impossible to see because of the sun, not a bad fault

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
