This is a unique offgrid rural location, away from the madding crowds, on the elevated northern side of Kit Hill - an AONB {Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty} - with miles of walks right outside the door, and within easy reach of north and south Cornish/Devon coasts. The Eden Project is less than an hour away [~30 miles] and there are a host of other wonderful places to visit - Max 2 Hrs in any direction can take you to Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, N & S Coast beaches - endless possibilities!

Our location Is off the beaten track, and very quiet and peaceful - ideal for escaping from the crowds ... an oasis of calm, easily reachable by road or we can collect you from the local station (10 minutes away by car)!
A unique and tranquil location in which to relax and let your cares evaporate, yet within easy drivable reach of N and S Cornish coastal favourites and all the other inland spots.
The Yurt is equipped with a compost loo with a sink, attached to the decking the Yurt sits on (see within photos) and a bathhouse with shower, corner bath and sink.

There is a ~200 metre walk to the Yurt from the car parking area... this is over grassland, and can be a little muddy in wet conditions.
Interaction with guests is entirely their personal choice ... after we've shown you around, guests can be left completely alone, as if on a personal retreat, or can interact with the us if they wish - entirely at the guests' discretion. . . but someone is always around to help or answer questions if needed.
We are approximately 3 miles from the nearest villages/town for shopping supplies.
The location is arguably unique, facing incredible views of the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor, and our immediate neighbour the Kit Hill Country Park (with plenty of footpaths & bridleways to explore) is part of the stunning Tamar Valley AONB.
We are more-or-less equidistant from the north & south coasts, and within easy driving distance of The Eden Project.
You can DIY with catering, or we can put visitors in touch with local suppliers of veg & food boxes - they will deliver, however their delivery days need to be checked to see if they match conveniently with the dates of your stay.
Public transport is limited, due to the rural location - own transport is preferable, but not absolutely essential, depending on requirements/motivations of visitors.
Mainline trains come to Plymouth, then change for the very scenic Tamar Valley Line which will take you to Calstock or Gunnislake, where we can arrange pickup if required, or there is a local Taxi service.
