Frogwell is a tiny hamlet of half a dozen homes about 1 mile from Callington in Cornwall. This property is adjacent to Lendra Barn by Pigeon Wood. The Stable is a well appointed good sized modern studio.

Entering across the deck (a real sun trap in the mornings) and through the glass double doors you walk in to large open plan lounge and dinning area. The main bedroom area is screened from the living area and has a comfortable double and large oak wardrobe for storage. The large pyramid skylight above the bed allows you to sleep under the stars but with all the comfort of double glazing and central heating! One of the two sofas in the lounge area is a double bed settee. Although listed as sleeping 4 we consider the property 2 + 2. Ideal for a couple and a couple of kids (or close friends) that are happy to use the sofa bed in the lounge area.

The kitchen area is separated from the dinning area by a breakfast bar. The family sized bathroom is to the rear and has a full

Stepping out of the second set of double doors by the dinning area brings you out in to a private garden area. Ideal for lounging in the sun, enjoying a barbecue or sitting out in the evening with a glass or two of wine!

The property has Freesat TV and WiFi. A high chair, sun loungers and a BBQ are available on request. There is car parking and secure bike storage can be provided in the owners garage.

The Stable was architect converted to be a family annex and is fitted out to a high standard. It provides a warm and comfortable home-from-home at any time of year. This is not a draughty low quality summer only holiday let.

“It was very quiet and beautifull”

thanks Max we had a great holiday and thanks for charcoal we not planed bbq but with yours charcoal we spend nice evening in the garden.thanks for your father hi brought free range eggs.strongly recommend

“Fantastic Hideaway”

The Stables is contemporary & comfortable holiday home buried away down a narrow lane in north Cornwall. A perfect hideaway from the hustle & bustle of modern life. Everything you need is a few minutes away in Callington & Plymouth is a short drive away. Max & his father where very friendly, helpful & very quick to deal with a problem we had with a key. Our stay was perfect..

“Tranquility”

Stayed here for 10 days whilst revisiting places my husband visited as a child over 50 years ago. The stables are very spacious and set in the most wonderful surroundings, if it's peace and quiet you are looking for this is the place to be. Ideally located for visiting both north and south coasts of Cornwall. We were greeted by the owner (Max) who is very warm and friendly. And left us fresh eggs from his chickens. Would certainly recommend a stay here.
