“magical, every childs dream garden”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2016

We have just returned from a very lovely stay at Sherwell Cottage where we had a wonderful family holiday. Peter & Tracey are truly lovely people who went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean & cosy, yet very spacious for a family of 4. We all fell in love with the garden, the children could not believe their eyes when they first saw it. Tracey & Peter have put lots of thought into making this a fantastic place for children & parents to relax and this shows with their attention to detail. There really are so many good things to say about Sherwell & we would return in a heartbeat & we hope to do so in the future. We would even consider a stay over winter/christmas time as I'm sure Sherwell would be just as charming. Thanks for such a great holiday

“Idyllic cottage in stunning surroundings”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2015

We spent a super week in this beautiful cottage. Tracey and Peter are wonderful owners and even though they live next door they are very friendly and welcoming without being in the least bit intrusive. The cottage inside and out is beautiful, the dining kitchen large and very well equipped. The 3 bedrooms are all large and the beds were particularly comfortable. The gardens and fields surrounding the property are extensive and our 2 boys had a wail of a time playing football, hide and seek and zooming along at high speed on the zip wire. We can only imagine that this property would be even better in the summer months where more use could be made of the outdoor seating areas. We loved everything from the home made scones on arrival, Ziggy and Luna the owners fun loving dogs and the opportunity for fabulous days out.

“Warm, welcoming retreat in stunning cornish valley”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2014

Sherwell Cottage is set in the most beautiful location, immaculately presented with everything you might need. Good size rooms and bathroom and much larger than expected kitchen. Centrally placed for both the North and South Coast as well as Bodmin and Dartmoor it is ideal base and if like us you stay in the winter months the wood burner provides a real cheer after a bracing days walk.
