Description

Creagan Cottage is situated in the village of Callanish on the west side of the Isle of Lewis. It is an ideal holiday base being centrally situated on the island . The area boosts spectacular sceneries, lochs, mountains and beaches, ideal for walking , bird watching, fishing and surfing. In the centre of Lewis are some prehistoric and iron age site, the most stunning of these being the Standing Stones at Callanish.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and has magnificent views looking on to the village of Callanish and the Uig hills. To the left and to the right of the cottage are views of Loch Roag which is a sea loch coming in from the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is a leisurely walk from the Standing Stones and Visitor Centre and you are a 20 minute drive from the town of Stornoway which is the hub of the island and boosts a variety of interesting shops. There is plenty to see and do in Lewis and if you have no car there is a regular bus service passing by the end of the drive to and from Stornoway or a circular tour of the island

“Creagan Cottage”

Warm welcome from Angus, who showed us around and explained about the facilities, heating etc. Very cosy and comfortable cottage well placed for us to explore the Lewis/Harris region. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from enjoying the outside patio area from which there were lovely views over the village and the Callanish Stones, and the local harbour. Recommended!!

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at Creagan Cottage, Callanish. The accommodation was excellent, great views, quiet location and we would highly recommend it. We will definitely return.

How do damage deposits work?
