The Brittany region
This part of France is renowned for it's stunning and rugged landscapes from the Pink Granite Coast through wonderful inland villages and towns to the Emerald Coastline. You could spend weeks here exploring secret little coves, mystical villages set in the most amazing scenery and medieval architecture to equal the best in Europe.
If the scenery is not enough for you then venture in to the many restaurants and cafes to sample the freshest seafood, the most mouth-watering crepes (pancakes) and of course delicious wines and local cider.
Walk off these sumptuous meals by discovering the local traditions and sights, be it in a town steeped in history like Dinan or a beautiful lake side town such as Huelgoat which has rough canyons with strewn boulders the size of houses, ancient rocks like 'Le Roche Ttremblent', a vast boulder that can be wobbled by one person (if you can find the exact spot to push!)
If you are looking for kiss me quick hats, bingo and all night discos this probably won't be the place for you but for anyone else it is heaven! So If you want a seaside holiday, to walk, cycle, fish, explore or just eat drink and relax then Brittany is the place to be
Coz Pors is set in a tiny hamlet a few hundred metres from the village of Saint Servais. It is surrounded by glorious countryside, natural woodlands, and steep banks which are dotted with primroses in the spring. Two minutes walk down the hill and you are in St Servais where you will find the friendly local bar/ shop and the beautiful and very ancient church. Five minutes drive brings you to the nearest town, CALLAC which has shops, cafés and two excellent supermarche. One of these supermarkets boasts it's very own fishing boat which guarantees a plentiful supply of fresh, local seafood! The fresh vegetables and cheeses will please the most demanding 'foodies' amongst you, not mentioning the breads and patisserie.

"Great holiday retreat"
We spent a week in the country hideaway of Coz Pors. Great little cottage, nice fixtures/ fittings. The cottage is in a small hamlet, with a local bar a short walk away. There is little else in the local vicinity, so this is ideal for a restful break away from the bustle of the city and a place to put your feet up, read a book on the patio and get away from it all. Local town is a 10 minute drive, and bigger towns 40 mins to an hour away. Beaches are about an hours drive, but fantastic and with great facilities. We loved our week here and the accommodation was great and spotlessly clean. We did have some problems finding the property, but Sue who owns it has rectified that for future residents.

"Cozy hideaway retreat in a very intimate setting"
I stayed in July last year with my husband, we throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet but also visiting nearby Guingamp for some life...we were made very welcome in the local bar just a couple of minutes walk away. There was ample bedding and crockery, all amenities catered for. A home from home. The beaches although a bit further away, are definitely worth visiting. The Cottage itself is nestled with a few other cottages and you feel like you are in the 'real rural France' amongst local people, not a tourist trap. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Having spent a week here in May we loved it so much we returned for a two week autumn break. This lovely, well equipped cottage in its idyllic setting is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Even the supermarket trips were fun - so much variety and quality. The cottage itself is very comfortable and we lacked for nothing. The kitchen was a delight, the bed was bliss, the evening log fires were a delight (so much so - we have now installed one at home). The surrounding countryside is beautiful - with the added bonus of a local man showing us the secret massive standing stones in the forest. We will be going back when we get chance.
Thank you so much for your wonderful reviews. We take great pride in our gorgeous little cottage and we love nothing more than to know that our guests have had a wonderful time. Hope to see you again!
