The apartment (recently renovated Jan 2016) has 2 large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living space with sofa, dining table and flat screen TV. French doors open onto the large terrace overlooking the swimming pool and garden area.

The Space

Our Mediterranean style apartment (newly painted and renovated January 2016) is ideally located within the Siesta Mar II resort. The apartment within a 400 metre walks from the beach and within a 100 metre walk from restaurants and bars. The famous Cova d'en Xoroi (unique bar/restaurant/nightclub set in a natural cave on a platform overlooking the sea) is also within close proximity.

Bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 contains a double bed (2 separate single beds can be provided upon request). Bedroom 2 contains two single beds.

Living room contains pull out bed.

Both bedrooms have a built-in wardrobe and have direct access to a second balcony with views of the garden area.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is fully equipped containing gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and all standard cutlery including pots, pans, dishes and glasses.

Living Rooms and Outdoor Terrace:

Living/dining room with lounge, Flat screen TV with worldwide sky channels, dining table and chairs and WIFI internet.

By opening the glass French doors glass entirely, the comfortably large main terrace and the living room create a great open concept space to dine, play or relax - all of which in view of the pool area. The terrace also contains outdoor furniture.

Bathroom:

Wc, shower with rainforest shower head, basin and hair dryer

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:

Towels and bedding included which are changed every week.

Garden

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the swimming pools and water slides, garden areas including a small playground and the compound's own restaurant which offers reasonably priced meals and a breakfast buffet. There is a "laundromat" opposite the reception where you can have these washed and dried against a small fee.

In the restaurant area and the restaurant's terrace wireless internet is offered for free. In addition we have contracted WIFI in our apartment so you can be connected while you "disconnect" on your holiday.

Interaction with Guests

For a more flexible check-in the apartment keys can be fetched and later deposited in a "number-key-safe" at the entrance to the apartment. We will provide a full set of towels and sheets for your stay.

The Neighbourhood

Our apartment is located in beautiful Cala'n Porter just 20 minutes from Mahon airport and Mahón, the islands capital. It is set in a family friendly holiday compound with lush gardens, 2 swimming pools, a water slide and a café / restaurant. The stunning beach (eg "cala") is just a 5 minute walk using the scenic stairs down the cliffs or a 10 minute stroll along the street. In walking distance, you find a good variety of supermarkets, restaurants and bars for entertainment.

Getting Around

The island is rather small and public transport is acceptable. However, it is recommended to rent a car or scooter for getting around if you intend to discover any of the large number of very scenic and sometimes remote beaches.

There is a local bus service for a 15 minute ride to the capital Mahon. From here you can get a bus service to most parts of the island.
