Description

Cala D'Or is a beautiful spot at the south-east coast of Mallorca, approximately 40 minutes drive from Palma Airport. The complex is an exclusive gated complex of 53 apartments, completed in 2007 by Taylor Woodrow. This apartment is a very high quality, fully equipped penthouse, offering all modern comforts for couples and families within walking distance of the internationally renowned Marina Cala D'or, Yacht Club, beach and town centre. The complex is spotlessly clean, landscaped and has a lovely communal pool with ample loungers for the exculsive use of residents. This light and airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is beautifully presented with good quality furniture and decoration. All home comforts are present including WiFi, TV, Freeview (seasonal satellite disturbances may cause occasional disruption to freeview reception), DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric oven/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, and ironing board. There is air conditioning (with reverse heating), secure parking and lift access to the property. What really sets this property apart are the superb views; the balcony looks towards the stunning Marina Cala D'or and out to sea. The spacious roof terrace offers panoramic views including the marina, sea, mountains and countryside.

“Fabulous holiday in this lovely apartment”

My husband and I booked this apartment and we certainly weren't disappointed, the apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed, location is perfect (5 mins from the Yacht Club and Marina) and the owner Lynn is very helpful and responds to any questions quickly. Cala D'or is our favourite place and we have stayed in many apartments over the years, but this is by far the best. The views of the Marina from the balcony and the roof terrace are amazing! All in all, this is a wonderful apartment, felt like a home from home and we are already planning to return in October with our daughter and her partner. Thank you Lynn xx

This resort is perfect for families to explore in a safe, friendly environment. Brilliant safe atmosphere around the pool. All kept immaculate by friendly ground staff. Apartment beautifully furnished with everything that a family needs. Exceptional and essential air con providing escape from heat. Best corner balcony in the resort with light evening breezes as you overlook the beautiful marina. You need never leave the balcony as ample shade provided by efficient electric retractable sun shade. For dedicated sun lovers well equipped personal upper sun terrace with beds and shower offer unrivalled views of complete panorama of this beautiful resort. Very comfortably furnished throughout. Bonus of two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and Sky TV with DVD player with broad spectrum of family DVDs. This is a perfect retreat for families of all ages as well as less mobile, more senior travellers. Efficient lift provides ease of access to this apartment and taxis and easy to get and inexpensive. Whether you like to explore the varied shops of the town, hunt out the many high quality places to dine or explore the beautiful sandy or rocky beaches there is something for every taste in Cala D'Or. Loved the Artisan market in Cala Egos, pleasantly surprised to find such quality unique goods. We will definitely consider revisiting time and time again.

“Excellent,.... Has everything you could wish for,..... AND MORE!!!”

Four of us are just back from a weeks stay in this really lovely apartment. We found it very spacious, airy and most of all VERY comfortable. The apartment is very nicely decorated with modern contrasting accessories. There are many additional bonuses in this apartment, that are not normally included in a rental apartment, and we have rented lots of apartments over the years. There is a very large roof terrace where you can sun bathe all day long in your own privacy, there are sun loungers and a table and chairs up there too, not to mention a shower to cool you down. Inside we found the furniture to be good quality and very comfy. The beds are the best I have ever had while renting abroad, as they are not only very comfortable, but they are also very quiet, no squeaks, or creaks. (Can you tell I have had a bad experience with noisy metal beds in the past? See my other reviews LOL) The air con throughout the apartment was a BIG bonus, as it was red hot while we were there. There was also a nice breeze while out on the balcony or roof terrace whilst taking in the lovely views around the complex, fields and mountains, not forgetting the very lovely marina. Having 2 bathrooms was also a bonus, especially when you holiday with friends as you then have your own privacy. Lovely big shower unit too. The pool was also great with lots of beds and somewhere to shade if you need to get out of the sun for a while, like I have to. The maintenance men came round every day making sure the complex was kept clean, neat and tidy, picking leaves up and trimming the palm trees. It was all excellently maintained!! I would love to go back again, but maybe earlier or later in the year, as it was a bit too hot for me during the day time. I would defo recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Cala D'Or, as the location is spot on for the beaches, marina and restaurants, and only 15 mins walk up into the main town, or a cheap taxi ride. It only cost us €3.75 to get a taxi back from main town after a night out, so excellent value. Happy Holidays Everyone !! :)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Lynn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
