The highest mountain in the UK, Snowdon, is visible from the estate and the area is steeped in history with plenty of famous castles, sea fronts, walks and biking. We are about 1 h 30 mins from Manchester International Airport and about 1 hour drive from the famous Tudor town of Chester. It is best to have your own car if you really want to explore, alternatively, you can take a taxi from Bangor Station (direct mainline Virgin Train services from London Euston are about 3 h 10 mins) and you can collect a rental car at the local Europcar office near Caernarfon. Your rate is self-catering, however, meals are available in the dining room at the main house if pre-reserved. All bedding and towels are provided as well as luxurious Molton Brown toiletries.
