Byala village is a popular holiday spot for Bulgarians and so has a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, all of which are extremely low-priced. Only 50 km south from the Bulgarian Sea capital Varna and lying just 80 km north of the town of Bourgas, its panoramic views make it the perfect spot for a flexible holiday.

There are many beaches in the vicinity, some of them still virgin and unknown to most people.

The northern beach is famous for its fine white sand and beautiful lagoons. The central beach is the most preferable one because it appeals to many tourists has many restaurants, water-slides and other attractions. The southern beach is the most interesting there is a small harbour where you can moor your boat. This is the only harbour in the vicinity.

Many tourists who have visited Byala compare it to the French Riviera as it is located in a hilly area which gives wonderful views of the sea with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The foot hills of the Balkan Mountains rise only 6 km south of Byala. This gives a unique combination of spectacular views of the mountain and sea.

This holiday villa is exceptional, yet is economically priced to be within most people's summer holiday budget.

“Lovely villa!”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2014

Very nice villa, we were a party of seven, there was plenty of room for us all and the pool was lovely too. It was fairly close to the beach but down a steep hill, this did not bother us too much as we mostly used the pool or drove out to various local beaches. Various bars and good restaurants, very reasonably priced and with very large portions, within walking distance and further choice in the main town 10 minutes drive away.

“Great place, brilliant holiday, a perfect spot to go with a large family!!”

Hire a car, as the nearest town is approximately 10 minute drive. Seaside town with a cracking beach and plenty of restaurants dotted about. Good supermarket, which we used as mainly ate at the villa, with 4 growing teenagers this was idea! Fairly large pool at the villa which kept the kids entertained all day. Villa bright, airy, clean with great facilities. Great area at the villa for sunbathing, BQQ spot and general entertaining. Fabulous views across the coastline, as villa sits on a hill there is a small town that you can walk to which has general shops for food if car not a must. Very quiet area around the villa, but suit us. and of course, fantastic weather all round.

“Wonderful view, peaceful setting”

Reviewed 28 Jan 2014

The villa is situated about a 10 minute walk out of the village of Byala which is best described as up and coming. There aren't a huge amount of bars and restaurants in the town, but they all served good, extremely cheap food. Ozbor the next town along was much more lively with a wider choice of eateries and shops. The villa is large but only has air conditioning on the ground floor, bedrooms have stand alone fans, but it still gets very hot at night. The pool is a nice size and situated so you can make the most of the view across the bay to Ozbor. The villa had been described as having 4 ensuite bedrooms which wasn't quite true. There were 4 bathrooms, one on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor but only 1 of them was truly an ensuite. The villa was well equipped and has a pool table which the kids loved. I would definitely recommend hiring a car if staying in the villa as it is a little out of the way. Bulgaria was lovely and the food and drink incredibly cheap, there were 5 adults and 3 children on our trip and we never paid more than £60 for a meal for all of us! Bulgarian service is a little odd though, they bring the food as it is ready so you might get a couple of main courses then wait a little, get another, then wait another 10 minutes before the rest come so don't wait til everyone has their food unless you are eating salad! All in all it was a lovely holiday, the beaches at both Byala and Ozbor are amazing and the sea is like a warm bath!
