A fantastic three bedroom Victorian apartment right in the centre of Buxton, two minutes walk from the famous Pavilion Gardens and minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants. Unusually for Buxton this property has off road parking. This two floor apartment offers three beautifully decorated bedrooms on the top floor. Two bedrooms contain double beds, with the master bedroom offering en-suite facilities (toilet, sink and enclosed shower). One bedroom contains two single beds. Bedding and towels are provided for your stay. The lounge also contains a sofa which converts into a double bed, with bedding available.The lower floor consists of a kitchen and a large lounge. The kitchen has a farmhouse style table which comfortably seats 6 people, and there is a washing machine, dish washer, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and an electric oven. A gas fire set in a beautiful stone surround makes this room ideal for a cozy winters evening, and the flat screen TV, DVD player and Wii are sure to keep everyone entertained any day of the year. There is a small selection of books, including local history and useful maps of the White Peak and Dark Peak areas, and a small selection of board games and DVDs.For guests with young children a travel cot and 2 high chairs are available, and there are child friendly utensils in the kitchen.The main bathroom has a traditional style free standing bath and separate shower.We offer free Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay, and there is an addition desk and comfy chair upstairs in the large landing which is ideal as a mini work or study area.The property has a shared drive and can offer parking for one vehicle with extra parking available on the road outside the front door.The private downstairs hallway has ample space for push chairs, bikes and muddy wellies or walking boots.Buxton train station is only 15 minutes walk from the apartment, and has regular, reliable trains to Manchester. Macclesfield train station is a 20 minute drive away, and is on the main West Coast train line between London and the north.Buxton is a very family friendly town with lots of outdoor space, many leisure facilities and several tourist attractions. A public swimming pool is open all year in the Pavilion Gardens, and the gardens themselves are a beautiful place to have a picnic on a summers day. The famous Pooles Cavern is five minutes walk from the apartment, next to the popular Go Ape climbing attraction. The local landmark Solomon's Temple overlooks the apartment, and can be reached via a lovely walk through the nearby Corbar Woods.

Buxton is a spa town in Derbyshire, England. It has the highest elevation of any market town in England. Close to the county boundary with Cheshire to the west and Staffordshire to the south, Buxton is described as "the gateway to the Peak District National Park". A municipal borough until 1974, Buxton was then merged with other localities lying primarily to the north, including Glossop, to form the local government district and borough of High Peak within the county of Derbyshire. Economically, Buxton is within the sphere of influence of Greater Manchester.
Buxton is home to Poole's Cavern, an extensive limestone cavern open to the public, and St Ann's Well, fed by the geothermal spring bottled and sold internationally by Buxton Mineral Water Company. Also in the town is the Buxton Opera House, which hosts several music and theatre festivals each year. The Devonshire Campus of the University of Derby is housed in one of the town's historic buildings.

“Smart home, good location”
Well maintained property, in a good location. We were visiting the area for a wedding, but would definitely go back again and explore the area more.
I was looking for somewhere in Buxton that myself and my family could stay in for a few days for a family wedding. Temple Mews was just the place. Spread over three Floors there was plenty of room, all the bedrooms were very spacious with one on suite and a large family bathroom. The kitchen was lovely with all the usual kitchen equipment provided. There was plenty of room in the living room with another table if needed and a corner sofa and a sofa bed. I would definitely stay at Temple Mews again,a lovely house to stay in and very central to Buxton Town.
“Absolutely perfect home from home for a large group”
We booked Temple Mews as a base for a few days before and after our daughters wedding and eight of us moved in. The appartment is beautifully decorated, really spacious and so fully equipped we wanted for nothing. The wedding cake was baked in the large, spotless kitchen. There was room for all the wedding paraphernalia in the huge downstairs hallway. With 2 bathrooms available the eight of us were very comfortable. Would highly recommend this appartment as location is ideal and parking no problem. Thank you Deborah for thinking of everything.
