My husband and I stayed at St. Joseph apartment with our two kids in August. The apartment is absolutely superb; beautifully decorated with spacious living quarters. Even the bedding was exceptionally gorgeous and comfortable. The location was also fabulous, being so close to the Opera House, the gardens, and as many different types of restaurants as you could possibly think of! The owner had provided so many little unexpected extras over and above the usual it felt really special. Also when we contacted the owner with questions etc we could not have had a quicker response, nor could she have been more helpful.

All has already been said. Booking, welcome, accommodation, décor, welcome packs, were all first class. parking permits were a plus. Lots of heating and hotwater. A wonderful few days. Would book again without hesitation. Maybe an extra shower/loo would just make it all perfect but that will not stop me returning.

We booked Joseph Apartment at relatively short notice (<6 weeks) for a weekend get-together. Jackie, the owner, responded very promptly to e-mails and as the property was not booked was happy for us to have a 2-night rental rather than a week. The price of £150 per night (shared between 5) was excellent value for such a place right in the centre of Buxton. We really appreciated all the little touches, such as not only providing tea/coffee but also milk and even chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco! Having such an abundance of space within the apartment meant we could really relax and enjoy catching up with each other. Jackie was super-helpful at both arrival and checkout. Will definitely recommend to anyone else seeking accommodation in the area.

We travelled to Buxton for my dad's 70th birthday. Jackie couldn't have been more helpful - there had been a lot of snow and some roads were closed but Jackie advised alternative routes for us and kept us up to date. The apartment was everything we could have wished for - fabulously furnished and very cosy. The personal touches of the goodie tray and milk, orange juice etc were such a treat! And the flowers were gorgeous! Thank you Jackie for collecting the balloons for us - they looked fabulous in the dining room. The apartment is in a perfect spot with the pavilion gardens, opera house, town and loads of bistros etc on your doorstep. The snow made the weekend for us - my 70 year old dad enjoyed the sledging! A memorable weekend for us all. We will be back! Thanks again Jackie!

We stayed here for our New Year Break. We were met by Jackie who showed us around the apartment and gave us plenty of info on the area, restaurants and bars etc, she was more than helpful. The apartment is right next door to the beautiful park, the opera house and numerous pubs and bars, perfect for our mixed age range group. The apartment is outstanding, everything you would need is supplied, but the finishing touches such as the fresh flowers in the lounge, dining area and bedrooms, as well as the beautifully pristine linen and towels make this apartment stand out from some others we have stayed in. This apartment is ideal for anyone wishing to visit the opera house or the surrounding area of Derbyshire and the only downside for us was that it was a bit tame compared to our last New Year in Edinburgh, but hey you can't have everything!

We had a great week in Buxton. The apartment is centrally located with lots to see and do in walking distance. Recommend Poole's Cavern and the Dome in the University building. Great meal at St. Moritz restaurant nearby. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation with a nice homely feel. Even in August we had no problem finding parking space right outside the property and used the 2 parking permits that come with the apartment.

This was a fantastic apartment. Staying with my wife, 2 daughters, their partners, 14 month old grandson, there was plenty of room. Everywhere was beautifully furnished, well laid out and spotlessly clean, The booking was very efficient, the welcome was warm and the facilities were excellent. The location couldn't be better, opposite the Opera House and park, and very close to restaurants and shops. It really was faultless. Suitable for adults and slightly surprisingly, for the toddler too. Quiet, sophisticated and really comfortable

this apartment is fab, its in a lovely location , furnished to a very high standard, really comfortable beds, owners go that extra mile, fresh flowers, welcome goodies, milk, juice, chocolates etc. lots of places to eat out, supermarket local. we would highly recommend this apartment .

How do damage deposits work?
