The Apartment works well using either just the bedroom, with its Super King Size bed, or else in a 2+2 configuration making use of the pull-out sofa bed in the living room.
Shower room floor has underfloor heating and a good grab rail in the shower cubicle.
Dedicated boot/airing room alcove for the muddy and wet outdoor gear.
No smoking inside the Apartment.

Our Apartment location enables the outdoor enthusiast to access the beautiful Peak District from a town centre situation.
The region is criss crossed by deep limestone river valleys (dales) which make for scenic views, interesting walking paths and various cycling trails. The nearby National Park offers a natural setting for all manner of recreational activity such as Walking, Cycling, Rock-Climbing, Caving, Horse-Riding, Fell Running, Fishing, Air Sports, Water Sports.
The Super location of The Apartment 32A is on a quiet back street in the centre of Buxton.
Proximity to the 3 big cycle trails (Monsal, Tissington + High Peak) suits couples with young children and bikes.
Walkers will be impressed: think Kinder Scout, The Roaches and Ladybower.
Buxton is in the central south west part of the Peak District National Park and is a transport hub.
Access to transport hub allows our guests option of leaving their car behind.
The thriving town theatre scene hosts annual festivals eg: Buxton Festival, Festival Fringe, Gilbert & Sullivan Festival, Puppet Festival.
In town location will appeal to visitors attending Buxton's festivals.
There are 5 big stately homes nearby each running activities and tours eg: Hardwick Hall, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth, Peveril Castle and Lyme Park.
Buxton is 1000 ASL, the climate is temperate and the natural spring which rises up in town is 82 degrees F, making the water deemed thermal. It was for this water the Romans named Buxton "Aqua Arnemetia", settled here and developed their transport routes.
17th century Buxton was known as Buckstones.
Town history goes back to Middle Stone Age Man. On the back of the thermal waters in the Victorian and Edwardian era,Buxton grew in size and developed much as we still see today.
The history of the water powered mills, weirs and railways from the Industrial revolution is within easy reach in Derbyshire.
There is much on offer within Buxton and the Peak District. The Tourist Information Office located in the town centre Pavillion Gardens complex will give you plenty of ideas of what to see and do.
Within the the town we recommend seeing a show in the beautiful and busy Buxton Opera House, perhaps during the Buxton Opera, Music and Literature Festival; see whats on, take a workshop at the Festival Fringe, the Adventure Festival or even the Puppet Festival.
Underground with its most spectacular cave of amazing illuminated crystal formations is Poole's Cavern, or, admire the sweep of the Crescent, and hear the echoes in the great Devonshire Dome and then finish off with an ice cream at the sweeping Pavillion Gardens heritage visitor centre, listening to the band on the band stand.
For activities and action try for example the big three cycle trails: the Tissington, the High Peak and the Monsal Trails. They start within 15 minutes from the Apartment, are suitable for children, have pubs and food refreshments along the way and bike rental locations and ice cream stands.

"The best stay ever!!!"
I can not recommend it highly enough. The apartment is wonderful, well equipped and very clean. We felt right at home. The jogging with Nigel, Belinda's use as a babysitter and countless really good recommendations. Thank you to the Manning family!

"Beautiful apartment, ideal location - simply perfect."
Immaculate apartment decorated to a high standard, perfect relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The apartment had everything and more than we expected including washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, microwave, hob/oven, toaster etc. The garden to the rear was a big hit for our eight year old son who enjoyed the trampoline very much!! The location was ideal - walking distance to all amenities in Buxton allowing us to enjoy the scenery and stunning historic properties on route. Belinda and Nigel were such lovely, interesting people and made us feel so welcome, we could not have asked for a better service. This is a property I would completely recommend to anyone and somewhere we will most certainly be returning to.

"Great accommodation in the centre of Buxton"
Stayed here for two weeks and the accommodation was great - newly renovated & great quality. Location was very central so we could walk to shops, pubs & restaurants - and the Buxton Opera House. The property owners were really helpful and gave great input for where to go in and around Buxton including short local walks from the property.

We selected this property based on its location (walking distanvce to resturantsand shops) A carparking place was a bonus. The pictures of the property gave a good impression. Comunications between the owners were easy and quick with easy instructions of how to pay. On arrival we were not disappointed, the decor and fiitings are superb,the kitchen is well fitted with lots of pots and pans and utensils, should you wish to cook,but there are loads of good resturants in the town. We shall return to this lovely property !
