This first floor apartment is a little piece of heaven set in quiet gardens backing on to a beach reserve . Sit on the sheltered balcony overlooking the pool and listen to the waves gently breaking on the shore. Take a walk through the peppermint trees and in a minute you are on the beach looking at beautiful Geographe Bay. Borrow the kayaks or stand up board and take a paddle on the calm waters. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels are provided for your convenience. There are two bikes to use as there is a bike path at the back of the property. Head into Busselton (20 minute ride) or Dunsborough (1 and half hour ride). Either way you ride you will be amazed at the scenery and the beautiful tranquil bay.
You can be assured of peace and seclusion in this private apartment.The apartment has a spacious lounge/dining area, a large TV and DVD player (wide range of DVD's to choose from), dining table with seating for 4 overlooking the garden/pool area. There is a 3 seater sofa

There is a 3 seater sofa and armchair to put your feet up and relax. The kitchen has a full size fridge, convection microwave oven, two hotplates, electric wok, frypan, sandwich press, rice cooker, kettle and toaster and crockery and cutlery. Coffee and a variety of teas are supplied, plus homemade slice on arrival.
The bedrooms have queen sized beds, overhead fans, bedside lamps and electric blankets for those chilly winter nights. In the master bedroom you will find a security safe, iron and ironing board. All rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated. There is a trundle bed and portable cot available if required. All areas have gas central heating and there is a portable air conditioner.
The bathroom is modern and bright with shower, toilet, complimentary toiletries and hair dryer. There is also a powder room with separate toilet.The balcony overlooks the native peppermint trees and pool area. A bbq is provided with an outside alfresco area. Sit and listen to the gentle sounds of the waves and native birds in the trees. The perfect place to unwind at the end of a busy day of exploring with a glass of local wine.Sandpiper is so close to everything you will want to see and experience – just a short drive away.

This is the perfect destination to take day trips and return to relax and put your feet up. Busselton town centre and famous wooden jetty is only 5 minutes drive away. Port Geographe Marina and Deck restaurant is only 15 minutes drive. A drive to Dunsborough is only 10 minutes away and Yallingup and the wonderful surf is only another 5 minutes further on. A wonderful half day tour would be to visit the Cape Naturaliste light house and whale watching lookout. Along the way visit the numurous secluded bays, Wise Winery, Eagle Bay Brewery, Eagle Bay Olive Farm and Bunker Bay cafe. Margaret River is only just over 30 minutes drive with over 54 wineries to visit along the way! Just over an hour away is Boronup Forrest with its majestic trees - drive through the middle of the forrest and experience the peace and serenity. Throughout the area are wineries, breweries, art galleries, restaurants and cafes.

There are so many things to see and do – make sure you book in for long enough to see it all.

The Western Australia region

Busselton sits at the gateway to the famous Margaret River Wine region and Sandpiper is an easy drive to all the wineries and boutique breweries of the area. There at 54 wineries within a 30 minute drive which ever way you go. Also famous for the world surfing classic competitions at the mouth of the Margaret River and Yallingup breaks. Take a drive along the coastline and watch the surfers from the purpose built lookouts. The coastal road takes you past numerous wineries, breweries, restaurants , caves and art galleries, There are two light houses in the area, Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin and there is a walking trail linking the two - about 90kms. For those keen walkers we organise to drop off and pick up each day making it easier and keeping the walks to only a couple of hours. Just under an hour away experience the big forrests of Boronup with its tall Karri trees. There is a dirt track that runs through the heart of the trees - a beautiful experience.

Busselton itself, is an historic town dating back to the 1830's (old for Australia) . It boasts the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere ( nearly 2kms long) and you can tate a leisurely walk or catch the train to the end. Right at the end is an underwater observatory where you can decend and watch the fish swimming by .

The area is famous for whale watching and you can take a boat trip or watch the whales from lookouts at Cape Naturaliste or Cape Leewin.

If you are keen golfers there are two golf courses in the area, one in Busselton and the other in Dunsborough. Horse riding is also in the area, making for a fun day out.

Whether it is a visit to a winery or a fine restaurant you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and a memorable meal. Or for something different, visit the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Provedore , award -winning cheese-makers, microbrewers and cafes – an entire world of tastings await you.

The region is also famous for its spectacular pristine coastline and the huge surf, with over 75 major surfing breaks located between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin. You do not have to get wet to enjoy the waves as there are many coastal lookouts along the way. Many surfing competitions are held annually; Margaret River Pro in March/April, Margaret River Classic in November and Yallingup classic in December.
