“Well equipped and good layout”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2016

Well equipped cottage with everything you need for a weekend away including travel cot and high chair. Basics for washing up and even spare toiletries but no hair dryer. Plus lots of charming extras such as fairy lights, candles, toys and working BBQ. Good for older guests as toilet on ground floor. Road is very noisy but finishes around midnight.

Jenny, thank you. WE have now got a hair dryer for guests! Much appreciated your review

“Lovely location”

The location is perfect for exploring the north coast attractions. The property has everything needed for a great stay, with a welcome pack provided on arrival. If the weather is nice, there are seating areas at the front and rear of the property, but only two chairs provided at each. As the property sleeps 6, more would have been useful as we had to carry a chair about for the third person in our group! The house wasn't the cleanest that I have stayed in, with some impressive cobwebs in the fireplace and windows. The kitchen work tops are wood and presumably have been oiled which makes them very sticky and they don't really feel clean. Plates and cups are stored on shelves rather than in cupboards so I felt I needed to wash things before use to remove dust. For the price, the property is good value, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 4 people because of the seating inside and out.

Many thanks for taking the time to share a review and glad you enjoyed your time up on the North Coast. We appreciate your feedback on the outside seating arrangements and will look to address for future visitors. The cobwebs mentioned, unfortunately, are simply a result of living in the country rather than any lack of care and attention before your visit. Kind Regards from The Byre.

Can not fault this beautiful cottage. It is in a stunning location, close enough to many great attractions, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and relaxation when wanted. Has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We all had a fantastic time, including my daughter. def hope to return. To some it up. PERFECT

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at The Byre with your family. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

“I wouldn't hesitate booking this property again and I will recommend it to my friends.”

Really cute little cottage. Perfect too if u have small kids, as they have a playhouse in the garden full of amazing toys. Great location, for giants causeway and rope bridge, etc. nearest pub within walking distance, the nearest shop is a 5 min drive. The only advice I can offer is to bring a pair of slippers as downstairs has a beautiful stone floor, which can be a bit chilly on the toes :-) Enjoy!
