Woody Lodge lies tucked away down a little private drive in an out of village location to the edge of beautiful Leicestershire countyside bordering on to Notttinghamshire. Easily accessed from all major routes with the A46, A6, and London mainline just a couple of miles away from Burton on the Wolds. The M1 and East Midland Airport a quick 15 minutes by car too, so an ideal destination for a mini holiday, visiting with family or friends or after business retreat.

The Garden Suite is privately owned B&B guest accommodation, not a rental, as listed on Trip Advisor. Overlooking Prestwold Hall country estate, venue for Everyman Track Events, weddings, horse trials, festivals and East Midlands Game & Country Fairs, this is a beautiful country setting to retreat to.

It has it's own entrance into the secluded south facing garden overlooking the lily pond and lavender terrace leading into the garden room where there is a fridge with milk provided, kettle for drinks, TV, books and magazines for a relaxing atmosphere. There are two sofa beds for extra guests who wish to share. French doors lead through to the master bedroom which can be king size double or twin with a private ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over with all manner of useful toiletries should you have forgotten anything.

Breakfast is served in the lovely dining room of the main house. Once guests depart for their day the suite is serviced for pristine freshness.

Continental breakfast has boiled eggs, croissants, pain au chocolate, toast, fresh fruits, yogurts, dried fruits, nuts, jams and marmalades, juice and pots of tea and coffee.

Full English breakfast has sausages, baked in the oven, eggs, grilled bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, fried bread etc with fresh fruits, yogurts, and toast with pots of tea and coffee.

All allergy and food intolerances are totally understood and catered for, providing non dairy, vegetarian, and celiac suitable alternatives on request when booking.

The Suite has free Wfii and parking, a wealth of information on local places to visit, things to do and many restaurnats menu's and pubs to go eat locally in the pretty surrounding Wolds villages.

The Garden Room has a small fridge and kettle with two sofa's/ sofa beds and large TV.

Ragdale Hall Health Spa lies 3 miles along the B676 to the east then on to the famous town of Melton Mowbray, well known for it's stilton cheese and pork pies.

Two miles west to Loughborough with Loughborough University of Technology and sport, famous for it's many international and olympic athletes, the Great Central Railway, back drop for many films and Taylors world renowned Bell Foundry which is open to the public.

Leicester and Nottingham are equal distance in opposite directions of approximately 14 miles offering great shopping, theatres and restaurants. Recently discovered in a car park, Richard the third now exhibited at the Guildhall, Leicester. Cricket at Trent Bridge and the Tigers Rugby at Welford Road stadium in Leicester too.
