“Brilliant accommodation and perfect location for visiting family.”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2017

This was our second stay in the cottage and, again, we were very impressed. The cottage has everything you would need, and every little detail has been considered. We will be booking again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review Look forward to you booking again Thanks Neil Sunnyside Cottages

Wonderful stay in a wonderful cottage. Stayed here last year too. Hoping to stay next year! Burton Leonard is a charming village and in a great location for visiting York, Harrogate, Skipton and many other lovely places. Cottage is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and is supplied with everything you need for your stay. Lovely welcome basket too.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review. Hope to see you next year. Neil Sunnyside Cottages

“Great cottage, lovely location”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2015

Great little cottage in a lovely Yorkshire village with easy access to lots of the surrounding areas. Very well equipped, especially kitchen, excellent Wi-Fi, easy parking. All very clean.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your lovely comments. Joanne Sunnyside Cottages

“Perfection”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2015

Burton Leonard is a gorgeous little village within easy reach of Harrogate, Fountains Abbey , Ripon, York and many other beauty spots. The cottage itself is spacious, modern and exceptionally well equipped. The only criticism I would make is the lack of manuals for electrical equipment, but the response to emails was very speedy. Immaculate, modern bathroom and kitchen and the beds were really comfortable. We had a wonderful week's holiday.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review and I am glad you had a lovely holiday, I will look into the manuals for the electrical equipment and make them more accessible. Thanks Joanne Sunnyside Cottages

“Lovely cottage,shame about the traffic.”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2015

A very nicely renovated cottage that overlooks the village green. Next door but one is a quiet country pub & diagonally opposite is the local corner shop. The owners of the cottage had left us a comprehensive welcome basket & when informed that the iron didn't work delivered a new one the next day. We were very well looked after It was seemingly idylic but there is one problem, the traffic that passes by! In the village is a lorry park & the lorries start moving very early in the morning & continue into the evening. Also there is a lot of through traffic. A great shame as this spoiled the holiday for us, to a certain extent.
