From the owner

The breathtaking Elizabethan country estate is nestled within 36 acres of rich, lush English Countryside. Horse riding, sailing, fishing, golf and shooting can all be found within a short walking distance, together with the picturesque river-side town of Burnham-On-Crouch.

You will stay in the Eastern Wing of the estate and, whilst there, will enjoy unfettered access to the beautiful surrounding grounds and meticulously kept gardens. The estate is romance and tranquility personified; affording lucky dwellers a true sense of nature and peace. When not being utilized as a filming location (Great Expectations, BBC's The murder Game) Creeksea Place opens its doors to the UK's most exclusive bespoke weddings. The Eastern Wing, nicknamed 'The cottage', is the Bridal Suite for these occasions. Whilst the rest of the house will be closed off, you will enjoy secured parking, a truly lovely, award winning cafe next door, access to our fishing lakes and torrents of walking opportunities, taking you through the very definition of charming, serene English Countryside.

There are many pubs in in the nearby town, featuring (from top to bottom) New Welcome Sailor, Oyster Smack, The Star, The Queen's Head, The Old White Hart Hotel, The Anchor, The Ship, The Victoria Inn. Takeaways are a feature in Burnham-on-Crouch also, including (from top to bottom) Dhanshiri, Oriental House, Pizza Island (Previously Rocket Pizza), Sauda Village, Spice Fusion, The Polash, Burnham Grill, Curry Cottage. Burnham also features a Co-op supermarket, Tesco Express, Petrol Station and Newsagents. There are a plethora or Sailing Clubs, supermarkets, a cinema, gymnasiums, a skate park and sports centers too.

Burnham On Crouch Train Station is a mere 10 minute walk from Creeksea, and one single train can take you into London Liverpool Street in just 55 minutes.

Owner's reply:
Greetings to the ‘Baileys 3’- Where to begin! Your passion and enthusiasm for the house was wondrously apparent before you even drove through the gates! I’m so incredibly happy and sincerely relieved that we managed to hold your ideals up. We’re so dearly and deeply invested in the history and ‘story’ of Creeksea Place, and ‘family’ like yourselves, whom’s ancestors helped build the Manor, remain so welcome, appreciated and treasured. Thank you for being such incredibly engaging, exciting and compassionate guests, and for helping perpetuate the ‘magic’ and dynasty that Creeksea Place is. Thank you also for penning such a touching and heartfelt review- The team and I couldn’t possibly be more grateful. Your ‘home’ will always be here for you and the entire Harris conglomerate. From my family (and team), to yours, thank you! We’ll definitely be seeing you again soon!
