David & Karen welcome you to Jockhedge Farmhouse.The beauty and simplicity of the country side, meets the elegance of Jockhedge Farmhouse.The Farmhouse sits in 25 acres of green land and is situated in the village of Burgh Le Marsh in the foot hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds. 5 miles from the family sea-side resort Skegness. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated in a country style with traditional oak beams, solid oak flooring with under-floor heating, a well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with double range oven, modern bathrooms and large dining room seating 16 with vaulted ceiling.Also available for parties of 15 is an adjoining cottage which sleeps 3 please see Lavender Cottage, which would be available at an extra cost.The Farmhouse offers unspoilt views of the surrounding country side and is set in a quiet rural location away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. However should you want to keep in contact we have free Wi-Fi access.The Farmhouse has private gardens with garden furniture and BBQ for those balmy summer evenings. Also available is an indoor hot tub spa area available free of charge for private bookings.Guests are welcome to walk around our 4 acre Orchard and gardens. In our well stocked fishing lake are Carp, Bream and Tench visitors are welcome to fish free of charge. Children's adventure play area with swings see-saw and slide. Free cycle hire is available so you can feel free to explore the surrounding countryside. Parking area at rear of farmhouse for 6 cars.* Entrance from rear parking area into spacious Kitchen and seating area with double Belfast Sink, double fridge freezer, Double Range Oven and Tiled Flooring. Getting around

There is a local bus route and we can provide details on local taxi firms too. Skegness, just 5 miles away, also provides a train station should you wish to use it.

Interaction with guest

The on site Reception office is open 7 days a week usually between 9am and 6pm depending on the time of year and we have a business mobile so guests can contact us at any time day or night if they need any assistance. We can provide advice on pubs, restaurants, walks, cycle rides, and places of interest to visit.

“Jockedge Farm House”

Really great family home with lots of room. The house itself is beautiful and well stocked up. Dog friendly, so our furry friends were happy and loved the walks around the house. Really enjoyed our stay, would go again. My favourite room was the dining room - picture enclosed.

“Exquisite house.”

We stayed in the property for a weekend and it was great. Location is perfect for exploring the coast and also the interior Lincolnshire Wolds, The bedrooms are lovely and the kitchen and barbecue facilities are of a very high quality. The grounds are spacious and tidy. The Owners of the property are also very accommodating and contribute significant added value to the stay with helpful and fun recommendations of activities in the area. Thank you for a great time. I would strongly recommend this property.

“Beautiful farmhouse in lovely location, 10 mins from beach.”

The farmhouse was situated in a lovely rural location and contained all the home comforts we could hope for. The children especially loved collecting fresh eggs each morning and using the outside space, rope swings, trampoline, bikes, climbing frame etc It is also only a 10 minute drive from the seafront. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this superb accomodation.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Liam/Karen (the owner) a message.

If Liam/Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
