The Lincolnshire region
The east coast is known to be the drier side of England so rarely do we have a totally spoilt week. If the weather is untoward there a host of great indoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Lincolnshire wolds offer great walks and being only 2 miles from the beach our lodge is in a great location whatever your holiday interest may be.
Burgh le Marsh
Our holiday home is situated just a few hundred yards from an excellent equestrian centre, the whole family, including non riders can have a great day at Orchard farm e.c. Fantasy island is only 2 miles and all the attractions of Skegness only 7 miles away.

"Exceptional value for money, great for family short break or holiday"
On arrival the house was spectacular from the outside with electric gates opening onto a spacious front and a balcony overlooking the front and side of the house. Once inside the house is a very open, light and very welcoming; after looking around there are all the ameneties and utilities you would find at home, in fact this house is a real home from home, incredibly clean with large spacious bedrooms (no overcrowding for groups) and a gorgeous bathroom with all towels and linens supplied to a high standard, there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere and no signs of other people being there it was like we were the first guests!! On arrival we were presented with a bowl of fruit bottle of wine and loads of tea coffee and milk, great after a journey we felt very well welcomed. Jamie the proprietor met us on arrival (really friendly and nothing to much trouble) I travelled there with my daughter as a treat when she finished her exams primerily as a horse riding holiday, although she has some experience with horses i had virtually none. The riding was FANTASTIC she had such a blast riding on the beach and Jamie boosted her confidence after a bad fall,(not at the holiday i should add before we went) me, well i was shall we say very anxious about riding around a strange place with people in charge i didn't know and being over 50 thought "what am i doing" yet he managed to make me feel i could take part with my daughter without me feeling under any obligation to do anything i wasn't capable of. We had a fantastic time riding and the horses are very well cared for happy and forward going, no poor nags honestly, they're great real confidence givers but i felt very safe. Whilst we were there for our few days the weather turned really nice so we decided to go to the beach for a while, even with no car there is a bus stop outside with buses hourly to Chapel St Leonards, Ingelmells, skegness and Mablethorpe so plenty to do and see even without the riding. Our few days on this break left us feeling refreshed, exhilerated and wanting to go back!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
