Downstairs:

The entrance to 1 Lower Cottage, Little Barringtons leads you into the reception/dining room, as you walk in, the first thing you notice is the wonderful cottage feel created by the exposed beams and stone work. This room is made delightfully cosy with a wood burner, to keep warm in those chilly winter months. The room features a window seat and is wonderfully light. There is also a moderate amount of storage provided by the under-stairs storage cupboard.

The living room is a lovely space with French doors opening onto the terraced garden allowing for plenty of light and an airy atmosphere. The family bathroom is carpeted and features a shower/bath with glass panel, a sink and large cabinet with mirror and has views out over the terraced garden.

Grounds:

The garden is a unique and enchanting place with an abundance of stone slates creating a multi-level terraced garden. There is enough space on one of the levels to have a BBQ area with table and chairs to enjoy those so loved summer months out in the garden.

Location description from manager

The Cotswolds region

The village of little Barrington was the home of the Strong family who were master masons and suppliers of limestone for some of the finest houses in the Cotswolds. Thomas Strong under the direction of Christopher Wren laid the foundation stone to St. Pauls Cathedral in London. The stone for the village came from a large depression nearby where a small stream wells up. The village cottages form a large oval around the rim of the depression broken only by the road running through.

Burford

Little Barrington is one of the most sought after villages in the Cotswolds with the local pub, The Fox, only a stroll away. The village is only 3 miles away from the historic town of Burford which you can walk to along the river Windrush.

Little Barrington is only moments from the A40 with links to Oxford, Cheltenham and Gloucester.
