Description

Relax, enjoy, explore! Situated just ten minutes from Shannon airport, and a stone’s throw from majestic Bunratty Castle in County Clare, Dun Ri has been designed to very high standards, offering elegant, luxurious, pristine holiday accommodation, with stylish furnishings and contemporary comforts throughout. Apart from being a delightful place for families and friends to get together, it is also a fantastic touring base to visit endless attractions, most of which are within a short distance.

The rental charge is based on 6 person occupancy, any additional guests are charged £20 per person per night up to a total of 8 guests.

Please be aware utilities are charged on usage and should be paid for at the end of the rental before vacating the propriety.

The ground floor includes a large fitted kitchen with a dining area and a breakfast area, where you can enjoy social meals together with your loved ones. Adjacent to the kitchen is a delightful, sun lounge, with French windows leading out into the garden. There are two large luxurious sitting rooms to the front of the house, one of which has French windows that open into the back garden. One of the sitting rooms has a gas fire and a TV, while the other provides a lovely tranquil space to kick back and relax in.

The upstairs boasts four beautiful bedrooms, three of which have en-suite shower rooms for added comfort during your holiday in Clare. After a long day wandering along the Cliffs of Moher or meandering the old cobbled streets of Ennis, why not return to Dun Ri for a relaxing dip in the sumptuous roll-top bath? Outside, a delightful garden lies to the rear and comes complete with furniture for those sunny evenings spent dining alfresco.

The small village of Bunratty lies in the south of County Clare near the Shannon Estuary, and is home to the 15th-century Bunratty Castle. The surrounding Bunratty Folk Park and walled gardens, which have been restored to their former glory, provide the perfect place to take a leisurely walk and enjoy times gone by before treating yourself to a spot of lunch in one of the cosy pubs and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. Why not enjoy an evening of traditional Irish music at Durty Nelly’s, which has been part of the village for nearly 400 years and was once a bar for the Bunratty Castle guards! The village acts as a wonderful touring base with so many exciting attractions within easy reach, including the Ring of Kerry, the seaside village of Lahinch and the majestic Burren to name just a few. A delightful family destination that can be enjoyed all year round.

“Fantastic house”

Reviewed 6 Jan 2018

We were in Bunratty over Christmas and New Year for a family wedding. We were delighted to find a house within walking distance of all that Bunratty has to offer. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It is well equipped and offers everything you need for a great stay. The owner and her team are extremely helpful and on hand if you need anything. I look forward to staying here again.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Best regards Margaret
