Perfect holiday memories are made here!. Now's the time to get all the family together in a stunning location and enjoy a perfect stay.

Dogs and child friendly.

The Hayloft is a gorgeous house which has been extensively converted to the highest standard by the owners. The Hayloft features reverse style living with kitchen / living area upstairs taking advantage of the huge vaulted ceilings and far reaching views over the local countryside.

The Hayloft has been designed with great attention to detail with oak flooring and granite worktops in the kitchen and large en-suite bathrooms with double sized wet rooms. Stay with us in the cooler months and there is a wood burner which makes a great focal point to cosy up to. Outside is a private and secure landscaped garden with patio and lawned area.

GROUND FLOOR: Large entrance hall with natural stoned flooring and bespoke arched double doors leading up to the oak and glass stairs. There are two large well appointed bedrooms Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has king sized bed, Lcd tv and patio doors which open out to sun terrace and seating area. Second bedroom has king sized and single bed with Lcd Tv and en-suite bathroom. Utility room with washer/dryer, sink, drinks fridge, ironing board and iron. Back door leading out to garden and rotary washing line.

FIRST FLOOR: Open planned stunning living/ dining / kitchen area with glass bi-fold doors that open fully out onto the balcony and terrace area. The modern and contemporary kitchen is superbly equipped for all your catering needs and includes a light and spacious style dining area.

The lounge has a 42" flat screen tv, dvd, sky and cd / ipod docking station. The third bedroom also has a king sized bed, Tv and is situated next to family size bathroom with deep bath and separate shower and heated towel rail. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated with Clarke and Clarke fabrics and matching soft furnishings. All duvets and pillows are duck and down feathers with white Egyptian linens. Every bedroom has a 22" digital tv, hairdryers, bed linen and towels are provided.

OUTSIDE: Fenced large and secure garden with landscaped flower beds, teak patio furniture, BBQ, loungers and a large store shed with out door toys and plenty of room for bikes, surf boards and golf clubs.

The Hayloft is situated in a peaceful location with countryside all around but only five mins drive to the pretty little village of Marhamchurch with its traditional pub The Bullers Arms and fantastic restaurant 'THE WEIR' overlooking the canal and wildlife centre. Great for everybody as it has a fabulous outdoor children's play area and romantic walks around the canal. The menu is also truly delicious with a wide range of homemade dishes. The whole family can park and cycle along the canal and back again all on the flat!

The Coastal town of Bude is nearby and offers a wide range of activities with its many sandy beaches, historic castle, canals, cycling, walking, boat trips, leisure centre with heated swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, surfing and a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Gorgeous*****

Superb location and amazing accommodation. We have just returned home following a week at the Hayloft and can honestly say it has been the best self catering and dog friendly property we have ever stayed in, definitely 5* plus. Caroline and her family have thought of every last detail to make your stay unforgettable. We were so impressed that we booked again for next year, before we left!! Thank you Caroline. “Perfection, a fabulous house.”

Just back from a fabulous holiday with my family, we are 5 adults and 1 child. As soon as we got inside the house the comments were "I want to live in a house like this". Obviously we had seen pictures online but the reality was even better. There was not 1 thing I would change, it was perfect. Larger than it looked and rooms spaced well apart. Plenty of room for us all even 2 separate places to sit outside. Very private and peaceful. A really well thought out property, with really high standards inside and out and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the comfortable bed with lovely bed linen, the personal touch of a homemade cake, fresh flowers and a bowl of fresh eggs on our arrival were very welcome, as was the friendly welcome from Caroline. Every detail has been thought of down to layout and amount of crockery and cutlery, the soft closing of the kitchen units and toilets. Plenty of soft seating inside and hard seating inside and out. T.V in all rooms. The artwork really compliments the house. I loved the lighting all around and particularly liked the spacious hallway/entrance. All the bedrooms have good modern bathrooms with easy to use showers. The triple aspect in the living area is amazing such wonderful views as far as the eye can see. Lovely big table where we were able to enjoy family meals together. My grandson enjoyed the many toys to play with, and sharing a little time with your boys. I really could not think of anything that could be done any better, we all had a wonderful holiday, Thank you. I would love to return again.

“In a Different League ...”

This is the best thought out and well equipped cottage we have stayed in during 10 years of UK holidays - an exceptional property in a wonderful part of the world. Everything was even better than shown in the photos, with great attention to detail ... a truly perfect spot that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The other reviews cover all of the details - which we completely endorse - and so it only remains to say thank you Caroline and James for making all of us (5 adults plus 2 dogs) so welcome, we will definitely return.

Interaction with guest

Hi, my name is Caroline, I am the owner of Kitsham Holidays along with the rest of my family we live on site in the original Farm house across the court yard. I usually like to pop my head around the door just to say hello and answer any questions. We are here if you need us other than that we leave you to enjoy your holiday. The most important thing is we want you to have a great holiday so if there is ever a problem we are right here to help. If you want to have a evening out away from the kids I can arrange a babysitter. Equally if you need a dog sitter we can look after your dog in the cottage or with us.

“Hayloft barn”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2018

Absolutely perfect in every way. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed in. It had absolutely everything we needed and Caroline and her family were very accommodating. The homemade cake and milk on arrival was very much appreciated and we will definitely be returning. *****

Owner's reply: Hi Claire Thank you for your lovely review. So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you soon.

“Outstanding”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2017

Just got back from a long weekend at the Hayloft and felt compelled to write this review. From the moment you arrive you are made to fell welcome by Caroline and James and they have a truly fantastic property in the Hayloft. Everything is absolutely spotlessly clean and well cared for. No worries about the weather as underfloor heating, radiators and a log burner will keep the cold at bay. The ensuite bedrooms were huge and comfortable. everything you could imagine and more was supplied and all looked brand new. So many places to visit locally and afar so you can never feel bored and all the locals are so friendly. I will be taking more of my Family there in the not too distant future.

“The "Hayloft" is a stunning property catering for all your family holiday needs”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2014

We (3 adults, 2 children, & 1 dog) stayed at the "Hayloft" in October 2014. The property is of a very high standard with lots of room and outstanding views. All bedrooms are very comfortable with well appointed en-suites. The open plan living/kitchen area is large and the furniture is a good standard which makes for a comfortable/relaxing stay. A good size enclosed garden (safe for dogs) and plenty of parking. A small garden room was a welcome addition in order to store our roofbox and there's a few surprises inside for the kids too! The property is semi-rural and well located to explore the key tourist highlights in North Cornwall. We were made very welcome by Caroline and it was self evident that if we needed anything we could call upon her. We had a fabulous holiday at the "Hayloft" and would very much like to return in the future.

“better than home from home!”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2014

the best thought out and well equipped holiday property I have ever stayed in. stunning views and plenty of space to walk the dog on the farm. very friendly and helpful owners. all made for a very relaxing break. thank you Caroline.

“Absolutely top class”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2012

My wife and I , our 7 year old daughter and friends and two dogs stayed here over the easter break week and had a fabulous time. The Hayloft is absolutely top class and the attention to detail is second to none. Caroline and James should be rightly very proud of what they have done with the place. Location wise it is no more than 10 minutes to the beach by car and within a 30 mile radius of everywhere along the North Cornwall coastline that we wanted to visit. From Bude down to Port Isaac via Crackington Haven, Widemouth Bay, Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow, Trebarwith Sand....the list goes on. Walking the dogs across the fields through sheep and over winding streams all right outside the front door was fantastic and so relaxing. Thank you C & J and of course the boys for providing us with such a lovely stay. We will be back without a doubt !
