Description from owner

Description

Rhapsody is located in the desirable X111 district, only one minute walk to the Danube River and a panoramic view of Margit Island and the Buda Hills. The neighbourhood is distinctly Hungarian, offering an authentic experience in a non-touristy part of down-town Pest. The apartment is nestled between the Danube, Jászai Mari Park, Margit Bridge, and the Pozsonyi Street pedestrian zone. Rhapsody is a comfortable walking distance to the major attractions, or public transport is around the corner. The Parliament is a 10 minute stroll along Falk Miksa Street where the best antique shops in Budapest are located. You will have a breathtaking view of Parliament, the Castle District and the Chain Bridge as you travel on the famous number 2 tram along the Danube on your way to the Great Market Hall, Vorosmarty Square and Vaci Street. Or jump on the number 4/6 tram to the Opera House, elegant Andrassy Avenue, and Szerenchyi Baths, or over the bridge to the Castle District in Buda. The West End

The Central Hungary region

A popular location for local residents to live. This area is the popular 13th district which has great links and easy access to all parts of the city, however walking to the Parliament, Andrassy, Opera are easily done within 10-15 minutes. While the popular Margaret island, is only a 5 minute walk over Margaret Bridge - a perfect place for relaxing, recreation and sport. A shady island and park that is perfect to walk, exercise, picnic, etc. Continue over Margaret bridge and you can collect the suburban railway that can take you to the popular town of Szentendre (or pick up one of the many boats on the pest side near the apartment!) and also to the venue for the famous Sziget Festival.Less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment is a childs play park and a park suitable to while away a quiet afternoon. “Silvester in Budapest”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2014

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Badewanne bzw. Dusche könnte verbessert werden.
