Description

We would like to welcome your stay in our new villa! The villa (December 2014) has 3 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms and is situated within the new gated community of Paradise View.

Inside, the living room boasts nice local-style bamboo furniture and satellite TV (3 LNB's, lots of channels) and an air conditioning unit. Beyond that, the master bedroom has a nice European style; with a comfortable king bed and an air conditioning unit (optional) and an adjacent bathroom with a shower that has both hot and cold water. The kitchen is complete with new appliances, including a gas-range, oven and refrigerator.

Outside you can enjoy the privacy of a secluded garden. The garden is landscaped by a local gardener 4-5 times each week. It has a big palm tree that provides shade. One hammock's is available and will fit 1-2 people. You can also lay back in the sunlouncher.

The Paradise View gated community is located at approximately 3km/2miles/5minutes from Brusubi (Salagi), 6km (4 miles) from Bijoli and 9km/6 miles/10 minutes from Senegambia/Kololli. The airport is 15 kilometers away. It is very quiet and has a good electricity supply. From the house it is a short walk to the main road where you can hail a cab. We can also supply the number of a cab driver who can pick you up at the gate. Several smaller shops and a restaurant are within 7 minutes of the front door.

We can cater to your every need. Upon request we can supply a hotel-like service, with daily cleaning, bed making and clean sheets twice a week. The standard will be a weekly cleaning and clean sheets once a week.

To summarize:

• 1 master bedroom with a king bed, big closet, ceiling fan and air-conditioning

• 2 other bedrooms with queen beds, ceiling fans

• 2 bathrooms with a good shower, sink and toilet

• Living room with a large dining table, satellite TV, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and African-style bamboo furniture

• European kitchen with all new appliances; gas stove, oven, refrigerator

• Scullery with cleaning supplies and a Foster's cooler for beer and soda

• Running water, both hot and cold, and good electricity supply

• Spacious, secluded garden with a front porch and paved driveway.

Owner's reply: I was very disappointed with these guests. From the start they were giving trouble. I stayed in my house in December. Everything was okay, clean and working.. I am not starting to comment on this piece of fiction. I have rented the house now for about three years I think around 30 times. Never had any problems. This is the first and I pray to God also the last time I will rent it to people who will find fault with everything.

“Very Good Accommodation - Highly recomended”

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay last november in this seemingly recently built bungalow. The house was really neat & tidy and Isatou proved to be a very friendly and unintrusive hostess. All the basic appliances where there and fully functioning, including a TV and 2 AC units (the latter turned out to be very comforting during daytime!). The garden seemed to be tended to regurarly as well. The bungalow is situated within a gated community wich is guarded 24/7. The community lays in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood which i found was a welcome change from the touristic areas. A small shop is situated on-site for all basic essentials, and both Senegambia and Serrekunda are only 10 minutes away by car/taxi. All in all i could highly recommend this bungalow for anyone who wants to have an accomodation which is up to western standards and comes at a very good price.

Always a bit of a lottery choosing a house to rent online however this accommodation was perfect for our needs. Great quiet location. Very secure. 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great sized social area and well equipped kitchen. Only criticism would be the cleanliness when we arrived. Obvious areas like tiled floors and bathrooms were spotless but I had to clean all kitchen and bedroom cupboards, worktops and shelves etc before we could use them. Also had random belongings scattered about like owners clothes, empty boxes etc. But I just dumped them all out of the way in the laundry room. Apparently the maid had left suddenly, but still not an ideal start to the stay. Despite that, would definitely stay here again. Ideal location for us as only 5 mins drive from my in-laws home and c.15 mins drive to Senegambia strip.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Marc (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
