Location description from owner

The Brighton and Hove region

Sussex is a wonderful location, full of a variety of things to do for all the family. Not only is it home to the very famous and popular area of Brighton and Hove but the surrounding areas have some of the most beautiful countryside in England. The exquisite landscape of the South downs are a mere few minutes drive and sussex boasts, many other attractions, such as historic buildings, museums, and other heritage sites.

Brunswick

Brighton and Hove is renowned for it's bohemiam, relaxed way of life. There are many attractions to admire here, including the Brighton Pavilion, built in 1787 as a seaside resort for George, Prince of Wales and let's not forget the wonderful pier that is so popular with tourists. The South Lanes offer a fantastic selection of independent shops as well as your top end clothing stores. In the North Laine you will find, unusual, small stalls and shops as well as some quirky flea markets. There is a Brighton Wheel (similar to the London eye), If you wish to see the views over Brighton and in 2016, we should be seeing the opening of the i360 tower, near the west pier. You can rise to heights of 450 feet in this controversial tourist site. Many people living in Brighton were opposed to the opening of the i360 but it is sure to be a winner for anyone who visits.

Brighton has it all, the beach, fantastic restaurants, shopping galore and a fab night life in the way of clubs, theatres and bars.

“Comfortable and convenient”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2017

Absolutely love this house. Close to the beach, Brighton Pier, supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops. You name it, everything is within a couple of minutes walk. We were 5 adults and 4 kids, nice size bedrooms, lovely kitchen and felt like we are at home. If we are in Brighton again, would love to stay here!!! Big thanks to the owner Renny, made our stay so comfortable and special!

Owner's reply: Hi Noriko & Christian, Thank you for booking and for the glowing review. I'm so pleased that you all had a great time and would love to see you all again one day. You have my details so keep hold for future reference. May you all have a happy and prosperous year. Renny

“Best Weekend EVER!!”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2016

9 of us stayed at Sillwood Road House for my Hen Do over the Easter weekend. We all had an amazing weekend!! The house was huge, and so close to everything! Shops literally just at the top of the road! We spent a lot of the weekend in the kitchen, was great for a large group. Didn't want to go home! Renny was really friendly and so helpful - we are already thinking about making it a yearly trip! :) Thanks again Renny - look forward to staying again!!

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind words Amie. I'm so pleased you all had a good time and enjoyed the property. Please do come again. All the best, Renny
