Two 18th century townhouses, on a canal , 5 minutes walk from the main square. The houses are in a cul de sac, so easy to park.

Bed and breakfast is in No.11 and house lets are in No.10 where there are three double bedrooms, one bathroom and two toilets, it is warm and comfortable and has a BBQ on the patio. The ideal place to stay. Nick & sue will be on hand , in no 11, so if you are in need of anything please ask.

We are happy to accept both three and four day bookings, a full week also if available
A starter pack for your first breakfast will be in the fridge, wine in the rack, beer in the cooler, we will just charge you for replacing.

“Stay here, you'll love it!”

No 11 (green door on the photos) made a lovely base for 5 adults dong a bit of festive shopping. It's warn and cosy, with enough seats and a splendid kitchen downstairs. 3 bedrooms over 2 floors - my Mum's in her 70's and struggled a little with the very steep and polished steps, but the sturdy hand rail got plenty of use. I hadn't realised that bedroom 3 leads off bedroom 2, but that wasn't a problem. The location is unbeatable, on a quiet street by the canal (or course) with parking. There's a public car park over the canal for those with several cars. 10 min amble to all the sights with plenty of bars and restaurants locally. Great communication from Nick (the owner) and help from his colleague Anja if required. The makings of a first breakfast was kindly included. For us, it was definitely better than a hotel and at half the price it's a complete bargain. Book it!
