Ratchill Byre Cottage is a newly renovated and high quality detached property, located 5 miles from Biggar and 12 miles from Peebles, in the beautiful Upper Tweed Valley of the Scottish Borders.

Elegantly decorated and furnished throughout, with two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a conservatory with double sofa bed, all with TV , one bathroom, one shower room, both with WC's, all at ground floor level. All bed linen and towels are provided within the rent. A fully equipped kitchen for six, is open plan to a comfortable dining/ sitting room with a vaulted ceiling, large wood burning stove and large TV with Freeview, DVD and surround sound. Ratchill Farm is a private residency and not a working farm and is surrounded by substantial private garden and parking area, with a small stream flowing through part of the garden, along with a patio area, to provide a truly relaxing environment.

With views of Corstane Hill, Cat Cleuch Head and the Upper Tweed Valley, this holiday home offers unrivalled opportunity for walking and cycling (John Buchan Way, Glentress & Innerleithen of the 7 Staines) as well as fishing on the Tweed. Stobo Castle Spa is also within range.

As well as a garage , post office, general store and bistro pub, all within walking distance in Broughton Village, the busy market towns of Biggar and Peebles, offer shops , cafes and pubs for the visitor to explore.

Ratchill Farm is not suitable for children under 10 years of age and no pets are allowed. The property is no smoking to preserve the immaculate presentation of this accommodation and to ensure that all your expectations are exceeded.
