Brora lies on the coast giving easy access to the far north, John O'Groats and the Orkney ferry with a day trip to the islands highly recommended. This spectacular coastal journey offers magnificent vistas of mountains, moors, cliffs, beaches and seascapes. There are coastal and country walks with a huge diversity of wildlife including seals, dolphins, sea birds, golden eagles and red deer. Outdoor activities include salmon, trout and sea angling, mountain biking and gold panning.
