From the owner

Our house is a beautiful brownstone house built in 1901. Conveniently located right in the heart of Brooklyn. We live in Prospect Lefferts Gardens which is an awesome diverse community. We are right by Prospect Park, Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Zoo. We have the subway walking distance and are a quick ride into Manhattan, to Barclays Center and many other wonderful places! There are also plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk.

Our guestroom and private bathroom was designed with lots of love and thought, you'll love it. We do our best to give you the feel of a home with the accommodations of a hotel.

Our sleeping arrangements consist of 1 very comfortable Queen size bed and a sofa sleeper that opens to slightly larger than a twin size bed.

Our place is good for couples, individuals, business travelers, and families with a child.

Interaction with guest

Upon arrival we will spend 5-10 minutes with you showing you around the property. Simple things like how to use the key, where outlets are, how to use certain light switches, simple things like that and will also answer you questions you may have. After that we will leave you to your privacy. However we are here if you need anything whatsoever! You experience during your stay with us it our top priority and will help you in any way we can. You are on the ground garden floor of our home. The halls are shared space, however we will only come through the halls to access our yard and will typically only do so abetween the hours of 9:00am and 9:00pm unless there is an unusual circumstance.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Christine (the owner) a message.

If Christine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
