From the owner

This stunning converted barn has its own large secluded private garden set in a small village near the picturesque market town of Eye in Suffolk. The perfect spot from which to explore both the Suffolk and Norfolk countryside and coastline. Fantastic accommodation spread over two floors with views across the countryside which is great for a family, couples or a small group of friends.

The barn sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedroom. On the ground floor there is a wonderful open plan vaulted sitting, dining room with smart TV and large comfy sofas with large windows overlooking the gardens and terrace. A fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave plus a washer dryer. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor with a walk in shower, loo and basin.

On the first floor are the two bedrooms. One double with TV and one twin, both with lovely views over the countryside.

There are spacious enclosed gardens with a terrace, table and chairs and a gas bbq. There is plenty of parking space on a shared private driveway.

The beds are all made with Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are provided as is all heating and electricity. Free wifi is available.

Some bicycles available on request. The owner is very happy to help with any requests you may have or help with where to go and what to do.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
