Description

Whispering Brook Country house commands spectacular views of the estate's 25 acres of vineyards, olive groves and charming cottage gardens. Sweeping mountain views offer guests the opportunity to relax and unwind in the privacy of your own home.

Whispering Brook is a beautiful and spacious house with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The house sleeps 10-19 guests comfortably.

Downstairs comprises 3 queen/double bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a smaller 4th bedroom with a single bed and an open plan area with a sofa bed with a double fold out inner spring mattress. There is also a second toilet and bathroom. Upstairs comprises 2 very large bedrooms each with a queen bed and two single beds in them and the third bathroom and toilet. There is also a double sofa bed in the upstairs sitting room that may be used if required.

Downstairs there is a spacious open plan lounge, dining and entertaining area with beautiful timber floors and views across the estate’s vineyard, olive grove and cottage gardens. There is also a very large games room with table tennis table and comfortable chairs. Upstairs contains a spacious sitting room with wicker chairs and magnificent views across the estate’s vineyards and olive grove.

The house is fully equipped with blankets, doonas, crisp white linen and towels, open fireplace and has reverse cycle air-conditioning upstairs and downstairs which heats/cools the entire house. The house also has a newly renovated recycled timber kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances including a very large freestanding gas cook top and electric oven, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer for you to stock with food. All plates, glasses and cooking utensils are provided. Milk for tea and coffee is provided for your convenience together with basic condiments. All 3 bathrooms are newly renovated with beautiful recycled timber vanities.

There is a large indoor dining table and another large outdoor dining table on the patio which will comfortably seat 14-16 people along with a BBQ for your use which overlooks the estate’s beautiful olive groves.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
