From the owner

A stone built, detached house in Brodick, Isle of Arran, full of character and traditional features, with driveway space for 3 cars and located overlooking the golf course, with easy walks to the village and the beach. "Heathdale" is ideal for golfing and hill-walking breaks and for "extended" family use, with 5 double bedrooms, 3 of which are family rooms with additional single beds. 3 of the double bedrooms are on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor, one of which is accessed through the family double, adjoining the kitchen, though there is also external access from the driveway.. The 14 guest spaces reported above, represents the actual bed spaces and would be appropriate for extended families.

There are 3 toilet facilities, with bath/shower upstairs and 2 shower/ WC downstairs.

There is an additional WC.entered externally at the rear of the property.

A "farmhouse style" kitchen is a feature of the house and with an open fire in the living room,a wood/coal burning stove in the dining room and oil fired central heating, the house delivers a warm welcome to all guests.

Whilst the house is well provided with TV.,all kitchenware, crockery, cutlery, glasses, duvets, pillows, etc. guests are required to provide all bed-linen and personal towels.

Arran is well served by regular ferry crossings from Ardrossan on the Ayrshire Coast and the journey time is approx. 55 minutes. A visit to the "Calmac" web-site will provide the ferry timetable and costs. "Heathdale is a 15 minute walk from the pier, through the village and sits on the outskirts, on the road to Corrie. The village is an 8 mins walk away.
