Description

Brockhampton Park is a castle dating back to 1800 with its lively big windows, high ceilings and gardens fit for the kings and queens of its time

The building was actually frequented by King Henry the second and many other prominent government officials of its time

The building was later converted to flats which we bought together and now renting

There is a lake and a lovely Victorian bridge on the premises with beautiful gardens and flowers

Really can only be appreciated when seen in person

Price well one cannot compete it to any on the area. An experience of living in this house will set you back in time with its beauty ambiance and style and you will truly enjoy the experience which money cannot buy. Please call to view

Brockhampton is a small Cotswold village surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and yet convenient for a number of centres. Winchcombe is a lovely old town situated to the north providing an excellent range of specialist shops and restaurants. The Regency town of Cheltenham is internationally famed for its shopping, festivals, restaurants, theatres and unspoilt architecture. Local facilities can be found in the nearby village of Andoversford with a village shop, Post Office and petrol station.

Brockhampton Park is readily accessible being within two miles of the A40 which provides fast access to the M40 and M5. The nearby Fosseway gives excellent north/south access. Cheltenham Spa and Kingham Station soffer direct services to London Paddington from about eighty minutes. At the entrance to Brockhampton Park there is a bus stop providing services to Cheltenham, Cirencester and nearby Northleach.

Leisure and recreational facilities include the Cheltenham festivals, National Hunt racing at Prestbury Park, Polo at Cirencester Park and golf at several local courses. There is a pub with restaurant in the village and numerous footpaths providing scenic walking routes. Closer to home, there are fishing rights on the lake.

Description

The Old Chapel is, as the name suggests, a former Chapel which was converted approximately fifteen years ago. The property is situated within Brockhampton Park which is a magnificent Grade II Listed mansion believed to date from about 1639. The building has now been converted into luxury apartments and the flat is on the Ground Floor. You enter the building from the main entrance with grandour

It has been beautifully restored to create luxury contemporary living whilst retaining the original features of the Chapel and having stone mullion windows. The accommodation is both light and airy and is arranged on the same floor.

The Old Chapel has access to the delightful communal gardens which include a lake, 19th Century, two storey summerhouse, walled orchard and kitchen garden.

It also has allocated parking for two cars
