The Worcestershire region
A compact Cathedral and University city with an area of outstanding natural beauty, all within a few miles of each other. Worcester and The Malverns are an ideal destination for a short break or holiday. Royal Worcester China, Worcestershire sauce, Worcester cricket ground, Elgars birthplace or rambling on the Malvern Hills make this an ideal location to enjoy many attractions and activities available. The Three Counties Showground is a place for all Seasons hosting many Shows including the Spring Gardening show 12-15 May, the Three Counties Show 17-19 June and the Autumn show 25-26 September. Festivals around the hills include Well Dressing to the lively Jazz Folk and Blues festivals in nearby Upton upon Severn or the Big Chill at Eastnor Castle.
The parish of Leigh and Bransford lies on the boundary between Worcestershire and Herefordshire, with the Malvern Hills dominating the southern skyline and the River Teme forming the northern boundary. It is in a rich farming area, until well after the Second World War hops and fruit were the main agricultural products.
The Malvern Hills extend for nine miles and offer ideal walking conditions and spectacular views stretching to the Cotswolds and the Welsh marches.
There is something for everyone from guided walks and trails, exploring history at the Heritage centres and local museums, premier theatre or just relaxing in an award winning health spa.

"Beautiful, spotlessly clean, friendly owners, perfect!"
There were 5 in our party, 4 adults, 1 child and 3 very well behaved dogs. The barn is superbly equipped, and, like I said in my title of the review it was spotlessly clean. The owners were extremely helpful, lovely family. We took the dogs on a very long walk which we all thoroughly enjoyed in breathtaking worcestershire countryside. The typical British weather didn't dampen our spirits. The large games room equipped with darts, table tennis were welcomed by all of us, a great feature for all to enjoy given the weather. Thank you very much Louise, we would like to come back for a weekend again next year.

We had a great time at the Barn! As soon as we arrived , we felt rather special to have found a beautiful place. The Barn was just lovely and suited our needs in everyway possible. The setting was peaceful and picturesque. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great during our stay but the luxurious feel of the Barn made it really cosy for us. Our son and daughter (5 and 2 years of age) had so much fun and were sad to leave on our last day- if only we could have stayed for longer! We went on some good walks from the Barn and the highlight for us was climbing the Malvern Hills with our young children. The only down side was that most of the bikes in the shed were unrideable. Thank you Louise for all your help and kindness.
I am glad you enjoyed your break. It was such a shame it was so wet over the jubilee weekend. I am sorry about the bikes I was unaware that they were unrideable, I know the mid size upwards are ok but will get the smaller bikes out and see if we can give them a makeover.

"Beautiful Barn And Great Location"
Stayed at the barn for the weekend to celebrate husbands birthday. Wanted a peaceful relaxing weekend which was exactly what we had. Prepared for wet weather but it was warm and sunny ! The family were really friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome including our dog Alfie who made friends with the owners dog Oscar who accompanied us on our walks. He also loved the cute little ducks. The surrounding area was lovely with walks from the door. It really was a lovely barn located right next to the owners main house with lovely views. Very peaceful. There was lots of information in the barn on the surrounding area, walks, places to visit and pubs and restaurants. The barn itself was spacious, very comfortable with everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and the king size bed was the best we have slept on. It was cosy and warm there and wished we could have stayed longer. Louise also let us have a late departure on the Sunday to make the most of our last day. Very accommodating. Recommend the cornish pasties & chocolate fudge cake from the local garage. Also teenage son really appreciated the free Wifi access. Hope to return again in the summer !!
Many thanks for your comments. I hope we can accommodate you in the summer when the pool is open. I am quite busy but still have some free weeks available. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards

"Luxurious barn conversion in beautiful countryside."
The barn provides both characterful and luxurious accommodation. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area is light and spacious as is the master bedroom. The second bedroom is a bit of a squeeze, but was fine for our stay. The children really enjoyed playing football in the grounds, bouncing on the trampoline and playing table tennis in the games room. We went on a lovely walk straight from the barn and made good use of our National Trust cards on day trips. We also visited some local pubs recommended and had some good meals in lovely pub gardens. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it was a good place to explore it from.
Sorry I have not responded to your review before. Thank you for your comment regarding the size of the 2nd bedroom I have changed it around and hope it feels more spacious. We have also done some upgrades since last year. Wi Fi. A TV in the main bedroom. Some new lighting and plants and coming next month we are putting in a hazel hurdle along the border to make the garden a little more private.
