“Not Impressed!”

Booked in June last year and the owner has cancelled on us. Not even the courtesy to respond and explain why it's been cancelled. Only given 1 star as couldn't give it less!

“Relaxing break”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2019

Excellent break away. Hut was spotless. Lovely little touches, like the freshly made cupcakes on arrival, and tea, coffee, sugar ans milk so we could have a drink before unpacking. Set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of signposted walks. Lovely little village a few minutes drive away where there were a number of places to eat. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Overall a much needed sort break away (Excellent for dogs.)

“Beautiful place to stay”

Brilliant little break, lovely place to relax and take in the countryside. But also a lot to do within a short drive, loads of nice pubs/restaurants and shopping areas. Very clean, friendly and helpful

“Perfect break!”

Myself and my partner stayed in the Old Dairy Shephard’s hut during our October half term and loved it. The hut is tucked away in a little space so you have all the privacy you need. The hut was exceptionally clean and tidy! Would recommend to anyone! Loved it, thank you!!

“Lovely stay”

Reviewed 26 Oct 2018

Thank you we had a wonderful stay in the old shepherds hut. It was easy to find and well signposted. The hut was very clean and it had all the necessities you might need. We enjoyed using the campfire to toast marshmallows and the bbq to cook breakfast. The hot tub was always very warm. It is in a good location as it’s not a far drive to lots of villiages and some tourist attractions (we loved the steam train). The welcome card and cakes were a lovely touch. Thank you I recommend to all!

“Amazing visit”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2018

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone! We are definitely looking at coming back and bringing family too. The maps were helpful and lots of walks. The hot tub was lovely but the chemicals were a little strong which did affect our skin however perfect for a short dip.

“Highly recommend!”

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights and wish we had booked to stay longer! The facilities within the hut were fantastic and very clean. The hot tub was a great extra and the farm was surrounded by lovely views, so much to do and see nearby - we used our welcome pack guide to explore the area! Already thinking of rebooking for summer time :)
