Welcome to a great holiday house situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac, less than 5 minutes easy walk from Broadstairs High Street and the beaches. A perfect location by the seaside!This is a friendly "home from home" where we have tried to provide everything you need to relax in comfort, and have a great holiday. There is ample storage, a large living room, lots of light, and a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge freezer. We can accommodate 5 adults together with an additional infant in a cot or additional child if two children are happy to share the third bedroom with a single bedside table and lamp between them. We can provide a cot and/or a highchair if needed and we have "blackout" blinds behind the curtains in two of the bedrooms to help children to sleep. There is an upstairs bathroom as well as a separate large downstairs shower/wc and facilities for eating both in the kitchen and in the dining area of the living room. There is full gas central heating, double glazing, and a digital box to provide all your favourite Freeview TV channels. There is a collection of books and some games and DVDs for the adults, as well as some videos and toys for the children. The pretty enclosed private rear garden is west facing and there are chairs, a sun shade and some beach items in the large shed where you can store any bicycles or other large equipment that you may wish to bring with you. We suggest that you store golf equipment in the cupboard under the stairs in the house where again there is plenty of room.Conveniently given its central location, the property has off street parking for one vehicle and further parking on the street nearby. Children are most welcome and catered for. We request no pets and no smoking. We are registered with the local tourist board and have been awarded a 3 star rating under the Visit Britain Quality Assessment Scheme.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed (4 ft 6"), bedside chests, dressing table, large fitted wardrobe, T.V./D.V.D., hairdryer and room for a cot.Bedroom 2 with 2 single (3ft) beds, bedside tables, large wardrobe.Bedroom 3 with 1 single (3ft) bed, bedside chest, large wardrobe. Bathrooms: Upstairs bathroom with bath, wc. and basin.Downstairs shower room with shower, wc. and basin.Heating in both bathrooms. Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. We have tried to provide all the crockery, glasses and cooking utensils that will be required. There is a table, four stools and a door leading to the back garden. Utility Room: There is a utility cupboard in the kitchen and clothes pegs etc. are provided. There is a washing machine in the kitchen and a clothes dryer in the garden in case this is needed. There is an ironing board and iron in the house as well as a hoover. Living Room: There is a three piece suite in the living room as well as side tables, a dining table, a side unit and six chairs. A small television, DVD player, Freeview ,video recorder and radio are provided. Cleaning/towels/linen: Please could you bring your own towels and discuss your linen requirements with me. The house will be cleaned between each let.

Broadstairs is a traditional English seaside town. Think buckets and spades, cafes with great views, delicious Italian ice cream and fish and chips ate out of the wrappers overlooking the seafront!! In a recent survey Broadstairs came second only to St Ives when it comes to English seaside holiday destinations. It has everything! There is a traditional high street with a good variety of independent retailers, together with many fabulous restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars. There is easy lift access to Viking Bay beach, great town gardens, and often in the summer months, great music in the bandstand. Further afield in one direction there is Margate with its old town, new Turner Contemporay Museum and thriving art scene and in the other direction is Ramsgate with its cafe lined harbour in the other.Walking/cyclingThe coast at Broadstairs is spectacular for walking and cycling, with great walks along the promenade and rides along the cliff tops.Golf Great golf courses locally include the famous Sandwich Bay course – but try some of the more local courses which are all very good. Louisa Bay - Derek's cafe (outside) Great breakfasts/lunches weekends Easter to Sept and daily as well in August hols. Promenade to sit at high tide. Launch for kayaks. Viking Bay – Broadstairs’ Viking Bay (5 mins walk) is one of the best beaches in the South East. A deep sandy beach it is well sheltered from all but the worst winds, making it ideal for sunbathing, playing and swimming. There is summer entertainment on the beach for young children including helter skelter, trampolines and swings. Rock pool at low tide. There is a lifeguard service and kayak hire in high season. Perfect to sit on for the day. . Bandstand in gardens above. Short walking distance to numerous cafes, bars and ice cream parlours. Lift between beach and gardens above. Dumpton Gap - cafe open during August holidays. Excellent for walks. You can walk on the beach all the way to Ramsgate, stop for a coffee overlooking the harbour and then come back along the park at the top of the cliffs. Stone Bay - cafe open during August holidays. Joss Bay - 10 min drive away. Good for surfing.

“Fantastic family home from home in lovely location”
I travelled with my family - 4 young children aged from 4 to 11, and it was a perfect home for us all. Set up is very like any family home, with all modern conveniences, plenty of bathroom space, and a lovely garden. We could walk down to Broadstairs town and beach, and there is plenty of information in the accommodation on things to do in the Broadstairs area. We followed one of the walks another guest had recommended (guest book was an excellent idea - we could see what other families had enjoyed!), and had a great time enjoying the coast. Ice cream parlour is amazing and plenty of restaurants to choose from (but might be worth booking, they did get busy). House was really comfortable, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be going back again - we stayed a long weekend and would love to do more next time (and we didn't even get in the car once!)
