Very Good

“Perfect Setting, some details could be improved”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2017

The views from the bungalow were amazing as was lying in bed watching the sun rise over the seascape. The convenience of being 5 minutes stroll from the beach, the romance of Bleak House next door, the onsite parking were all pluses. Cleanliness was of a good standard and the memory foam beds were comfy. For the amount we paid I would have hoped for better quality bedding that had at least been ironed, more pillows, and the synthetic material of much of the duvet covers we found hot and uncomfortable. Not enough mugs and glasses provided for 6 people we were constantly using the dishwasher- great sized fridge freezer coped easily with all our food etc. What a shame the garden looked neglected we could imagine it had been lovely once. Plenty of space in the bungalow for us all and great quality television to amuse the children and give us a lie-in!!! Broadstairs was as beautiful as ever and the weather was kind, Gala week entertainment and fireworks amazing.

“Wonderful sea views”

Reviewed 31 May 2013

We enjoyed our week in Seacroft. We are regular self caterers for holidays and found this one to be of a much higher standard than most. Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit. We enjoyed the conservatory especially to sit and eat overlooking the sea. The position of the house is perfect with a choice of either Viking bay or Stone bay on the doorstep. Plenty of places to eat out and we would recommend the mezze at the Greek restaurant don't eat on the day you go and you will still be full the next day as well! Day out suggest Manston to the RAF museum and the spitfire museum. We will certainly stay at Seacroft again to enjoy the comfort and the seaview.

“Great house in a fantastic location”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2012

I chose this accommodation for a week's break with my family because of the location and the sea views, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I could quite happily have sat in the very comfortable conservatory looking out to sea and listening to the waves all week! The house is obviously well maintained by the owners, and is nicely furnished and equipped. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and spacious. The shower is powerful, with plenty of hot water available. Communication with the owner was friendly and responsive, and we were welcomed on arrival with a cup of tea and a tour of the property. The coastal path runs past the house, and there is easy footpath access down to either Stone Bay or Viking Bay (the main Broadstairs beach), both of which are lovely. We did get passers-by peering over the garden wall as they walked along the path, but the house is set far enough back to mean that it didn't feel intrusive. The location has no passing traffic, so it was generally very quiet at night. Overall this house had everything we were looking for in a quiet family seaside break. It was great value, and I would absolutely recommend it.
