Description

West Cliff House is a beautifully decorated home that is just a stones throw from the sea making it a perfect space for anyone visiting Broadstairs.
The house has been lovingly restored to a high standard and although it is airy and light, it is also a very comfortable and homely space. The house is a family home and is set up as such - with everything you will need when you are holidaying away from your own home.
There is a table in the beautifully designed kitchen and next door is a spacious dining room that leads through to the bright sitting room. Two bedrooms are on the first floor with the large family bathroom and wet room shower and at the top of the house is a further bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The sunny walled garden (with astro-turf!) is south facing, so gets the best of the sunshine during the day.
This is a perfect location in Broadstairs as you can park free of charge outside the property and it is a short walk into the main town - Broadstairs has lots

The Isle of Thanet region

Broadstairs' two neighbours are Ramsgate and Margate. Margate is home to the the new Turner Contemporary gallery and is near the old town which is full of retro shops and cafes. Ramsgate seafront is one of the 'cinq ports' and has lots of bars and cafes overlooking the harbour.

With fast rail links into Kings Cross St Pancras for London and Ashford and Ebbsfleet International, Europe is easily reached on Eurostar. The port of Dover is only 30 minutes drive away where you can hop on a ferry to France, so don't forget your passport!

Historic Canterbury with Canterbury cathedral, city walls, restaurants, bars and great shopping is only a 30 minute drive away or 20 minutes on the train. You can take a boat trip on the river to see the sights from a different perspective - there's even a witches' ducking stool for you to see.

Further afield is Dover, Deal, Walmer, Leeds and Rochester castles - all of these are easily reached by car in under an hour.

Kent is the Garden of England and the extensive coastline has lots of blue flag award winning beaches. Explore the beautiful countryside, discover country lanes, orchards, vineyards and coast houses. With cutting edge galleries, restaurants, theatre and entertaining night life that will give you everything you need.

Broadstairs

Broadstairs is considered to be the jewel in Thanet's crown, a very special place in 'The Garden of England'. A charming seaside town with a host of fabulous family friendly activities.

During the summer months, the ever popular Viking bay hosts daily Punch and Judy shows, a small Victorian carousel and swing park. Broadstairs also has its very own sailing club. If you like a bike ride, you should take a look at the Viking Coastal Trail.

Broadstairs has a Folk Week, Dickens Festival and Food festival!

The family style Stone Bay has beach huts, fantastic rock pools, a small cafe and holds a prestigious blue flag award. For younger children (up to age 8), an indoor play centre is always a great idea. We suggest you take a look at Helter Skelter... Lillyputt Mini Golf is just along the road from the flat. It's lots of fun for all the family.

Joss Bay holds a blue flag award. The coastline in this bay has some of the best waves in the area, and has its own surf school. When the weather is inclement, there's Revolution skate park with a climbing centre. Even novice climbers are catered for with beginner day courses.
