Upper Cottage is set in the heart of Brixham 2 Mins easy walk to the harbour and town shops with stunning views of this lovely coastal town. Your tariff will include towels and bedlinen---beds will be made up ready for you and tariff includes all gas electric and broadband internet also dedicated parking nearby
Upper Cottage is conveniently situated just a stones throw from the
harbour on the level of the shops close to the town centre, ideal for shops restaurants pubs and harbour without the need to climb up and down the hillside steps of Brixham unless you wish too.
There is no need for a car as the buses to all local resorts leave from the square just a few steps from the property. (we take advantage of our free bus passes to tour the area)

From the kitchen at the rear of the property, there is
a beautiful suntrap walled patio garden and barbecue area, with
quality garden furniture.The sun stays all day in the garden and till
late evening in the summer.

The cottage has its own dedicated parking space in the harbour
. The parking space is only a short distance away from the property, a 5 min
easy walk for me more than likely less for you!!
A word about safety---the cottage has smoke and carbon dioxide detectors
on both floors, gas and electrical certificates and conforms to fire regs.
Great place for walkers, close to coastal path to Berry Head or Fishcombe cove and you can catch the bus back to the square just a few steps from the cottage. Evenings explore the bars and restaurants and then at the end of the evening its just a few easy steps back to the comfort of home without any hills to climb.

Don’t panic that was only the weather - thankfully Upper Cottage has everything you could need and was warm and cosy into the bargain. A few minutes walk from Brixham Harbour centre so it was lovely and central for shops, pubs, walks and the beach. We enjoyed our weekend, despite the rain - a nice Walk by the sea, a pint in the pub and then a Chinese takeaway back at the cosy cottage - what more do you need. Thanks for sharing your quirky cottage, Rosalie.

“Home from home”
We both really loved staying at Upper Cottage. Very close to the harbour too. The beds are really comfy and everywhere is really clean. Its a very quaint old cottage with lots of charm. Every thing that you could possibly need is in the house. Its very warm as well, with lots of hot water and good showers. The only thing i would mention is there are lots of stairs. One flight as soon as you get through the front door up into the house. One staircase to the upstairs bedrooms plus one steep one to the outside courtyard patio area which is off the kitchen. So if you have mobility problems you should bear this in mind. Would not hesitate to return again and would recommend it to anyone.

If Rosalie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
