“Lovely weekend”

Reviewed 5 Apr 2013

We had a really lovely time we took my mom and dad for my days 80th Birthday. Parents both fit and well and they managed the steps up the house fine and also the stairs from the kitchen and dining room with ease. The view from everywindow looked out onto the Harbour spectacular any time of the day. We liked the fact that both rooms overlook the harbour as most 2 bedroomed properties have a good room and then another bedroom on the back without much of a view. The bathroom was on the middle floor but only a few steps down from the two bedrooms and both my parent had no trouble with them. The heating was needed for the holiday as it keps us cosy and warm. We even managed to have breakfast 2 mornings out on the terrace which was great. The area around Brixham was great we did not have to travel many miles to see some really interesting placed. Agatha Cristis summer house is worth a visit and we also ate out in Torquay. We would really recommend this property for any age group. Thank you to the team at Cornish Holidays who on the first day helped us with the central heating, a man was there within 30 minutes of ringing.

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Blue Horizon, particularly as it was for such a special occasion, an 80th birthday. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if we can assist you in booking another holiday in Devon. Kindest regards Devonshire Cottage Holidays
