Perfectly situated in Brixham, the pubs and restaurants on the doorstep! The cottage is very nice and has all you need for a perfect stay in lovely Devon. We had a wonderful time in Seabird cottage!

Owner's reply: Thankyou very much , we are glad you enjoyed the cottage and Brixham.

Cute , cosy cottage in a fantastic location Close to the harbour. Tastefully decorated, lovely and warm and all the home comforts you could hope for. Brixham is a fascinating, colourful place Lots of lovely walks and good restaurants. Especially liked the pub a couple of doors away 'the manor' great prices and welcoming staff. Would definitely return and recommend to friends .

An excellent place to stay when in Brixham. The weather could have been better, so was unable to make best use of the garden.

Owner's reply: Thankyou very much. We are glad you enjoyed it, sorry about the weather.

“Great location for Pirate week”

Big plus - Really lovely décor & homely feel Big plus - Great location, almost unrivalled Big plus - Nice terrace area to sit out Big plus - Loads of lovely clean towels, bedding very nice Big Plus - The lovely lady across the road, v friendly and has a spare key incase you lock yourself Slight minus - Heating on timer, very cold when we arrived at night Slight minus - No provision for rubbish disposal, had to put in bins in town Slight minus - Shower room very small to move around in Slight minus - Stairs are steep so be careful, we had one or two falls Slight minus - Parking in main car park at small additional charge Slight minus - Would have been nice to put a pint of milk in fridge (we were a late arrival & were stuck until morning) Overall a really great stay for the price. Can recommend

Owner's reply: Thankyou for your review.

“Just perfect!”

I stayed in seabird cottage recently with my boyfriend and my parents. As soon as i entered the property i felt at home, Its so welcoming and comfortable, the decor is stylish and modern, without feeling sterile. Most importantly, the cottage is spotlessly clean.! Its the perfect size for a small family or a couple. The kitchen has enough pots and pans to cook everyday meals, the only thing we would suggest taking is a block of knives. The garden is lovely and is a real sun trap! It has an excellent location, just a 1min walk to town. We loved the cottage to bits and would stay again without hesitation. Massive thanks to Dave and Clare for making our time in Brixham so enjoyable :-)

Owner's reply: Thank you Laura so glad you enjoyed you stay, we love our cottage and delight in Brixham so glad you also enjoyed the experience. (Will look at getting a set of knives - thanks for your feedback) David & Clare

“A delightful cottage with lovely furnishings, in a quaint area just above the harbour.”

The cottage was immaculate and beautifully furnished with care and attention. The garden was very pleasing, with sunny aspects. The situation of the cottage just above the harbour in an area full of character was delightful. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

Owner's reply: We appreciate your compliments and are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We love our cottage and Brixham, so happy you shared in our experience.

“unique, cosy and charming”

Reviewed 22 May 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our break away at Seabird Cottage. It is a tiny little cottage best suited for family or very close friends to stay at. It has been beautifully done up and is a well thought out space. It is well set up. The only thing is if you are an enthusiastic chef you may wish to bring your favourite basic cooking kit. The kitchen however is set up for visitors to prepare and make basic meals. The cottage has the most wonderful outdoor space, it is an all day sun trap. Perfectly located with a short walk to town and a very nice new bar/pub just a few doors up. We will definitely plan to re-visit.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your comments we welcome your appraisal and so glad you enjoyed the experience of our traditional fisherman's cottage
