“Excellent accommodation and facilities, great for children!!!!!!!”
The hosts of La Grange made us feel very welcome. They were extremely accommodating and did everything possible to ensure we truly enjoyed our stay. The gite is very spacious and offers everything you need, especially with two young children, who loved the playground area and the pool. The weather was great, even in October! The accommodation is in a great spot, near a couple of pretty towns (Cognac and Saintes) and also not far to drive to the coast and beaches in Charente Maritime. As it is in a lovely countryside location we also enjoyed going on nice sunny walks. I would highly recommend this holiday accommodation to all ages and especially to families with young children. We had a wonderful holiday and are thinking of re-booking the same gite again next time. Thank you!!!!!!!!
“SPLENDID ACCOMMODATION IN IDYLLIC SURROUNDINGS”
We rented the 2 adjacent gites (La Grange and Le Figuier) for our 2 families. Both gites were extremely clean and well specified. Lovely pool which was a lifesaver on the hot days. The whole site is well laid out with a boules area, swings, a place for badminton. The bikes we hired were all excellent and the area is wonderful for cycling as so picturesque and FLAT. We only had a week but visited the coast - lovely beaches at Palmyre with waves the boys loved - and Cognac, which is a charning town only 15 minutes away. Phil and Glyn were always helpful and friendly but not at all intrusive. Would recommend for families with young kids, teenagers and couples of all ages.
