Description

Recently refurbished to a particularly high standard this attractive mews house provides light open and airy living accommodation, with a tastefully designed shaker style eat in kitchen, cooking is on a smeg range cooker, the Aga is more of a detective feature that is not in use. Leading into a generously proportioned living area, and a utility room all with attractive oak flooring throughout. Upstairs the property has a good sized master bedroom, and a further double bedroom and a large bath/shower room, finished to a high level of specification and a well proportioned landing that would lend itself to being used as a useful study area. Caledonia Mews is a private road which allows residents the benefit of off street parking, whilst there is no formal allocation of parking we understand the residents have an informal agreement to park directly opposite each property.

The England region

Bristol is the largest city in the south west of England, with a population of approximately half a million. The city is situated between Somerset and Gloucestershire. However, Bristol is historically a county in its own right and is properly entitled the City and County of Bristol. It has become more and more popular with tourists because there is so much to offer.

The vast expanse of Cliftons Downs can be found within quarter of a mile as can the historic landmark of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's world famous Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon Gorge. Britol itself has many attractions including the SS Great Britain, The University Tower, Cabot Circus Shopping Mall & the hustle and bustle of nightlife in Bristol City Centre

Bristol

The most beautiful shopping quarter in Bristol. Stroll amongst wonderful Georgian architecture and take your pick from any one of the many up-market independent shops and boutiques selling jewellery, art, gifts, furniture, fashion good food and more.

Shoppers can peruse the vast range of high-end independent boutique clothes and jewellery shops inbetween relaxing in cosy cafes, resuaurants - including The Ivy Brasserie that opened in August 2016 and pubs in the beautiful part of Bristol, just minutes from the city centre. Far a truly unique shopping experience, a visit to The Clifton Arcade is is highly recommended. This Victorian building is home to a bespoke furniture company, antique collectables, a traditional sweet shop and locally handmade gifts.

What's more, when shopping in Clifton, the Clifton Suspension Bridge is just a short walk away, making the perfect interlude to your day around the shops.

“Great location”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2017

Excellent mews house extremely clean with great facilities. Excellent location for walks, shops and restaurants.

“Great place, great location, great host.”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2014

Caledonia Mews is perfectly situated in the village of Clifton, near bus routes to the city, suspension bridge, supermarkets, independent shops, a fine selection of eateries and a lovely park for the children. Our host was extremely helpful in accommodating our 10 year old putting a small single bed in the main bedroom. The house itself is lovely and extremely well equipped. A nice touch was the milk, tea, coffee and really nice muesli waiting for us on our arrival. There was also a multi pack of children's cereal which my children loved as they only get that on holiday.! The couches are comfier than our ones at home so after a long day sight-seeing it was lovely to sink in to them in front of the TV. The two double bedrooms are bright and sunny with quality linen and again the beds are very comfortable. Anita thought of everything and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
