Location description from owner

The Brighton and Hove region

Thomas Kemp was the architect who designed the grand seafront terraces and garden squares at the east end of the town in the 1820s. These days the name Kemp town is used to describe a large area of south-east Brighton with its abundance of characterful pubs, restaurants, bars, and independent shops.Local attractions a short walk away from Eastern Terrace Mews. The glorious stretch of beach is Brightons pride and joy. The section by Brighton pier gets very busy in the summer while the East side is much quieter, and bbq is permited. The large Kemp town strech of beach has a small gauge electric railway that you can pay a small fee and be taken along the seafront to Brighton pier. Brighton Pier splendidly old fashioned and lots of fun. Sea life centre, a trip to the Aquarium at the foot of the pier has been part of the Brighton tourist experience since 1872. Royal Pavilion, The oriental domed palace owes its existence to the Prince of Wales who commissioned it in the 1810s, before he was crowned George IV. Brighton Museum. Set in the grounds of the Royal Pavilion Gardens. Proud Cabaret, St Georges Rd Brighton BN2 1EF. Proud is notorious for easing you through the roaring 20s and swinging 30s using high class (and often naughty) burlesque and cabaret showmanship, you can make an entire night of it having supper from there British inspired menu. A great night out that aims to cause a stir in even the most fastidious prude. Brighton Marina. Restaurants and bars, 8 screen cinema, 26 lane bowling ally, casino, health club and shops of every description, free parking for 1500 cars.

“Excellent holiday property”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2017

A very good quality holiday house. The garage is very handy for parking which few holiday properties in Brighton have.

Owner's reply: Dear Colin Thank you for taking the time to leave me a review, I would like to thank you all for respecting the house and if you ever wish to return please contact me and I will discount your next stay. Thank you all Kind regards Andy

“Fabulous property in a cracking area of town”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2017

Didn't want to leave this great place. It is in a great location and is so easy to live in, the quiet area of Kemptown is very cool. Parking was invaluable. Well equipped, clean and comfortable with a sofa each to hang out on. Andy kindly put a Christmas tree up for us and left a chocolate gift. The sea was just there, so some good walks to blow away the cobwebs. This place was just what we needed with two teenage daughters and for once we were all happy!

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, and I thank you all once again for leaving the property so clean and tidy. Would love you all to return one day at a reduced rate. Happy new year Andy

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review Marie, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Brighton. Kind regards Andy and Lorrae.
