“Lovely Brighton Weekend Away Basement Flat”

Reviewed 15 Dec 2016

As described: cosy, comfortable, well resourced bolt-hole within reach of everything good in Brighton. Would suit all ages. Off-road parking a bonus in front of house. Would come back!

Thank you very much and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope to welcome you back soon. (Please note that the off-road parking was only available on this occasion due to the usual user being away.)

“Fantastic apartment.”

Reviewed 26 Nov 2016

This is a truly fantastic apartment, the owner could not have done more to help. The welcome pack, featuring local sights, information on various restaurants and takeaways, instructions for all appliances, etc, was such a great help. The facilities are great, really nice bathroom off the bedroom (bed can be set up as two twin beds, or a double), very well laid out kitchen area. The location is fairly central, and for those new to Brighton, the owner has even provided a map, with a route marked out, to see the sights. A selection of books, dvds, and a box of childrens toys, should provide ample entertainment if the weather turns bad. Can not recommend this highly enough.

It was lovely to meet you and I'm glad you enjoyed staying in my flat and all its facilities. I hope to welcome you back soon!

“Excellent”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2016

We had a very good moment (6nights) in Helen's Flat. It is cute and well equipped. The flat is very close to Brighton's downtown. Our kid (9yo) appreciated the skate park (2min by walk). Our teenager appreciated the free wifi ! Helen has welcome us gently and was there when we need her. If you go to brighton, we advise you this flat. Regards David & Florence

Thank you David and Florence. It was lovely to meet you and your family and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope you will make a return trip from France very soon!

“Truly, a perfect place to stay.”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2016

The flat is in a perfect position to get into the city centre and enjoy the fantastic city. The flat was beautifully kept. Kitted out with lovely furnishings and all the utensils you could need to self-cater comfortably, Helen keeps a beautiful place to stay. Aside from the first-rate accommodation, Helen is a fantastic person to rent from. Courteous, friendly and pro-active. We will definitely be looking to book this flat every time we return to Brighton.

It was lovely to meet you both and thank you for your kind review - you were perfect guests! I'm glad you liked the flat and found it comfortable as well as convenient for the city centre. You will be very welcome to stay on your next trip to Brighton.

“Lovely clean and relatively spacious apartment close to centre”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

We had a lovely stay with our 7 and 4 year olds who we transferred onto the sofa bed at bedtime. The apartment was bright, bearing in mind it is in a basement and the flat was nice and clean. Helen was very helpful too. Great position for getting to local amenities. 25 mins walk from seafront and 10 from North lanes. My only negative would be it was a little bit noisy as it's just off a busy road but then it's in the centre of town so to be expected. Would book again and great value for money compared with the hotels and other self catering places. Safe for the kids too.

Thank you very much for your very positive review. I'm glad you had such an enjoyable stay with your children and I hope to welcome you back in the future. Helen
