Brighton is a great city to visit with lots of attractions come rain or shine and my place is the ideal place to stay to explore what it has to offer.
I provide a large double bedroom in a modern, sunny, central located flat that is close to all the attractions in town. 3 minutes walk across the road and you are in North Laine for some of the best independent and boutique shops in the country, 10 minutes walk to the pier, the famous Brighton Pavilion and seafront.
The bedroom is decorated with a new double mattress on a 1930's art deco burr walnut bed. This matches the large triple size wardrobe. The bed has 100% cotton bed linen with a goose down duvet and a selection of different pillows. This can be changed to suit your needs and seasonal changes. Also in room bedside tables both sides, blackout curtains for sleeping in late after those nights out and a projection alarm clock for those times when you do have to get up.
The rest of the flat is contemporary design. Bathroom with large bath and overhead shower, heated towel rail where your large fluffy towels are awaiting you and back lit mirror. Separate toilet is in the room next door.
Lounge/Kitchen with breakfast bar. Meals, washing, ironing can be provided at an small extra cost. Tea and "bean to cup" coffee is free.
Large TV with Virgin TV and Tivo offering large amount of content. Free WiFi 100MB throughout the property. Big sofa to chill out on.
Large balcony off the lounge for smoking. It has artificial grass so can be used all the time. Table and chairs out there so you can sit outside if you like and enjoy the sea air and sunshine.
I'm a gay man who has lived in Brighton all my life. That means you also get my expert knowledge of where the locals go to eat, drink and shop - and those we avoid. I appreciate what a guest needs when away from home. I can help to give advice on the best that Brighton has to offer.
Please note that this great apartment is my home so I do live here and will be around during your stay. It is a 2 bedroom apartment. You would be hiring the master bedroom for your private use and complete use of the rest of the shared facilities. The advantage of this is that you basically have a live in housekeeper. Alternatively if you need peace and quiet and need a night in alone then let me know. Any questions? please ask.
Brighton was once a sleepy fishing village and became popular in the early 1800’s when the Prince Regent came to stay for the sea air and to “take the waters”. As such, the city isn’t designed for cars so if you are thinking of coming by car then please contact me for advice before you book. Otherwise, I am just an easy 10 minute walk from the main train station - London Victoria 50 minutes, Gatwick Airport 30 mins.
Please note I rarely do Saturday nights by themselves especially during the high season. During the high season weekends are almost always 2 night minimum stays. Bank holidays are 3 night minimum stays. This can change if not booked and very close to the date. Please do ask.
Brighton Pride weekend is booked from year to year.
I do not do New Year’s Eve just by itself.
