1850's Victorian gorgeous, bright, romantic, characterful ground & upper floor two storey apartment in the heart of Kemptown Brighton, fully equipped for self-catering, with own private entrance and private 5m sq. south facing balcony leading off the kitchen where you can enjoy an al fresco meal or soak up the Brighton sun.

Feels like your own house! Perfect for a romantic break or a family holiday. LGBQ friendly. Sleeps up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, one King sized four poster bedroom plus one double bedroom. Large family bathroom with 2 lovely marble sinks rescued from the Waldorf Hotel London.

The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away, passing across George Street, a great meeting place, with bars cafes restaurants and shops. Superb location perfect for local shops, pubs bars, restaurants and beach. An easy stroll to the lively St James Street and famous Brighton Lanes eating and shopping streets.

We have refurbished the apartment using recycled wooden beams to create a lovely wooden floor throughout the hall, lounge and dining area. The pink painted oak topped bespoke kitchen has hidden appliances. Original white painted staircase leads to the large bathroom with lovely shower and 2 marble vanity units from the Waldorf and 2 bedrooms which have original sanded floorboards.

We use characterful furniture and fittings sourced from the local antique markets making this apartment (nearly a house!) uniquely styled in a location considered to be one of the nicest streets in the area.

We have unlimited Wifi internet. Freeview TV and dvds in lounge and TV in master bedroom. iPod player in lounge & kitchen. Parking may be available at additional cost, please enquire.

Please note this apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties.

Getting around

The town centre is an interesting 20 minutes walk away through the heart of Kemptown to visit The Pavillion and Brighton shopping centre. Regular buses 27 & 7 take you into town and to Brighton Train Station with trains into London Victoria Station.

“Exceeded All Expectations”

We have stayed in Brighton many times but this is by far the best property we have rented. Clean, comfortable and furnished like a home rather than a holiday let. Very comfortable beds and a good shower. Also nice to have the small outside area for a cup of tea or glass of wine. The location is great with local friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants plus a co-op and quirky individual shops. We agree that the Ginger Dog Pub is exceptionally friendly. The 20 minutes to town is a gentle stroll either through Kemptown with it's antique and flea markets or along the seafront. We never felt the need to use a bus or taxi. Amanda and Russell were wonderful hosts taking our suitcase in when we arrived over an hour early and leaving us a card and bottle for our anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful stay, this is definitely our go to home for all future visits to Brighton.

A great terraced house with a mini courtyard but a fab sun trap. Very well equipped and a spacious feel. Parking was interesting but we worked round it- owners were great communicators prior and during our stay.

Me, my partner and our daughter stayed here last year. It was the perfect place for us to stay with our toddler. The house was very clean and well equipped. There is a cute little garden area just outside the kitchen. We definitely felt on holiday with the lovely seaside theme but had the comforts of a home at the same time. The owners were very nice and easy to talk to and were very helpful and quick to respond. As it was my birthday, they left me a birthday card, bottle of bubbly and a pack of luxury biscuits which was a lovely touch to make my birthday that bit more special. We will definitely be staying here again.

How do damage deposits work?
