Location description from owner

The Brighton and Hove region

Brighton and Hove: England's loveliest and liveliest city by the sea. Brighton and Hove is fun, cosmopolitan and uniquely eccentric all year round. Regency architecture, pleasure pier, specialist shops, pavement cafés, lively arts scene and vibrant nightlife, everything is within walking distance, so take time to explore and enjoy. And with a backdrop of the Sussex Downs and traditional English countryside, Brighton and Hove is a great base for exploring the region. Brighton and Hove is the most enchanting, exciting, extraordinary seaside city in Britain. However brazen that may sound, it is no exaggeration. With its cosmopolitan air, oodles of restaurants, feverish nightlife and abundance of culture, the place defies comparison with anywhere else this side of the English Channel. For centuries it has been regarded as a 'pleasure dome', and that's not about to change. If you love life, welcome to Brighton and Hove. Info provided by tourist board.

Brighton

St. James' Street area is certainly a favourite part of town! It is located in the entrance to Kemptown, and is therefor the happening spot in Brighton. The streets are often lined with friendly people, who welcome you to the area. The street is lined with quaint shops, salons and coffee shops, and runs parallel with the seafront. On a sunny day, it is well worth a walk down the street, just to take it all in. Sit and have lunch on the outside tables of the many cafes, and take a wonder through the many antique and second hand shops. The area is unique to Brighton, with an eccletic mix of deli's, occult shops, friendly bars and restaurants, this is a great place to go to experience the Brighton 'spirit'. That spirit is a general happy-go-lucky vibe and tolerance of a wide range of outlooks. All this, and the beach is on the doorstep, as are all the delights of central Brighton.

“Fantastic apartament in lovely location”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2013

We came on holidays to Brighton as we had before been to study English a long long time ago. Fantastic location as very close to everything and you can walk everywhere even to the beach but too cold. The apartment is lovely clean and modern and we enjoyed our stay. The owners were perfect and very helpful, Recommend
