“Beautiful space in the heart of Brighton!”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2017

This apartment is even bigger and better than it looks in the photo's. Very modern and comfortable with plenty of space.14 of us stayed for 3 nights, right in the heart of Brighton surrounded by the lanes and countless pubs and eateries. A Short stroll down to the pier and beach, but tucked away enough to not be too noisy. Would recommend highly! The Accommodation itself is full of quirky artwork and furniture, a nice big tv, massive lounge area with the most amazing bean bags ever! And an enormous kitchen to cook up feasts if you can't be bothered to hit the town! I'll be back if they will have me back!

Owner's reply: Thanks James, glad you had a good time and enjoyed North Laine!

“Stunning New York-style apartment ideally located in the heart of Brighton's hippest district”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2015

Surprised a cluster of friends by booking this very cool New York-style apartment found in one of the hippest areas of Brighton, in The Lanes – and 10 minutes walk from the train station. This very spacious living area, artily furnished, has an amazing 'wow' factor and is suitable for a large group (we were 10, and there would have been comfortable room for a couple more) wanting to explore Brighton, day and / or night. Don't let the large safety deposit be prohibitive – it really is as good as it looks in the pictures. Looking forward to returning – to Brighton and Vine Street Studios – very soon. Thank you.

“Excellent entertaining space”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2015

We had 12 ladies staying in this gorgeous and trendy apartment in central Brighton and were very happy with it! The entertainment space was absolutely excellent - the pics do not lie - and the facilities in the kitchen (including good selection of crockery, glasses, cookware and salad bowls etc) were well thought out and totally ample for a full house of people and a good dinner party! Bedrooms- I would say there is enough space for a group of women but males may struggle in the smaller beds- I would suggest that mixed / male groups would find anymore than 10people a bit of a squeeze. All showers were excellent - plenty of warm water and power in the shower Overall a lovely apartment and an excellent weekend had by all Thank you!!!

“Fabulously cool pad in a perfect location!”

Reviewed 28 Apr 2015

I have just returned from this brilliant Brighton pad. I spent 3 fun filled days with 10 girlfriends in this uber cool loft! It was perfect for us, with lots of space for us all to hang out and good bedroom space. The location was perfect just off the Laines and right in the centre of everything but in a quiet side street so there was no noise to disturb us. We were quite concerned by the very hefty £1000 security deposit and the many signs in the loft detailing how we might lose it. But we were respectful of the property and the beautifil furnishings and our deposit was returned within 2 days. Highly recomend this property.

“We totally loved it and will be back!”

Myself and 9 of my friends (a mixed group) came to stay at the wonderful Vine Street Studios for my 30th Birthday celebrations a couple of weeks ago and we had the most amazing time! The apartment more than met our expectations – it really is as cool as it looks in the photos! The open plan space makes it perfect for socialising / dining in / chilling out and it was all very comfortable and extremely spacious. It is decked out perfectly with an eclectic and fun mix of artwork, light installations and furniture. We loved it so much we even bought a part of the decor home with us (paid for of course!!) in the form of a Cassette Lord artwork that was hanging. Upstairs you have the 4 bedrooms, plus the annex bedroom (or the granny annex as we called it) – which were all nice and spacious, light and airy. Although simple in design they have all you need for a comfy nights kip and space to get ready. Hairdryers in rooms were a touch and mirrors are nice and huge. The walk through room with a curtain was not an issue for us at all – we are all friends and it worked out just fine! In fact we enjoyed using that large area as our girly dressing room before going out! (The men weren’t so interested!) It was also great having a door code for entry to the property rather than worrying about keys / who has them / losing them etc, and the cafe / furniture store downstairs are just lovely. Brighton is fantastic and we come here a lot. The surrounding North Laines and nearby Kemp Town are our favourite areas so Vine street was perfectly situated. Communication with the owners and the management company was excellent both before and after our stay and we had absolutely no problems with our deposit (which I know concerns some customers). Once you are in the apartment you understand why it is such a large deposit – I think if you appreciate this and respect your amazing surroundings then you’ll be just fine! Thanks again to James and Chris and everyone else for having us to stay and enjoy your amazing property – I have recommended it profusely and we hope to be back ourselves sometime soon too! All the best, Amy

Owner's reply: So glad you enjoyed your stay, we would also like to offer you a 10% discount as you were such lovely considerate guests! - just mention it when you next book.

“Wonderful apartment with great attention to detail. Stylish, central, spacious!”

“Fantastic Apartment”

Reviewed 30 Jan 2015

Myself and 15 friends descended on Brighton for my 25th birthday and had the most fantastic weekend. The apartment really does have the wow factor and is beautifully furnished, the bedrooms and bathrooms are functional yet comfortable. The downstairs open plan living space works really well; sofas and beanbags are comfortable and informal and the egg swivel chair is fun. The kitchen is very well kitted out with plenty of pots and pans and glassware, crockery and cutlery...however at our sit-down meal on the Saturday there were not enough forks for 16 (the lovely neighbours lent us a couple for the evening) and we couldn't locate any larger plates for the main course. Another small issue was the fact that we were only left with 1 toilet roll in each of the bathrooms which is obviously not enough for 16 people. To be honest though these small issues did nothing to change what was a really wonderful weekend in probably one of the coolest apartments in the country! I would definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed, and I plan to make a return trip at some point in the future.

It was a weekend away for my 30th birthday with friends. The apartment, location and price were the best. Everyone had a fantastic time and I would go again. I was a little worried about the large deposit as we had the maximum amount of people that could stay but it was absolutly fine. Noise was not an issue even with a big group as we kept the windows closed when playing music and you could hardly hear anything outside. Really brilliant place!!

“Loft living in bohemian Brighton!”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2013

Great place to stay. Very handy for "The Lanes" with its restaurants, bars, coffee houses and shops. Spacious living room makes for a sociable stay. Great to have wi-fi, big TV and hi-fi. Size of the deposit and the risk of damaging the property was a bit of a worry. Choose somewhere else if you want to party late into the night and make lots of noise. Parking in Brighton is a bit of a nightmare.

“Fab apartment, great location, clean, could just do with bigger beds”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2013

We stayed at vine street for a hen do 27-29th September. The apartment is amazing and does have the wow factor as you walk in. The communal areas (lounge/kitchen) were brilliant, definitely big enough for the 16 of us staying. The only issues were that we were missing hand towels, toilet rolls, tea towels, cleaning utensils. Pro star however did provide hand towels and toilet rolls when a couple of the girls made them aware. We only noticed the lack of cleaning utensils and tea towels later on on Friday night so we had to buy those. Not a big issue just something that the owner could take note of and perhaps provide next time. The beds are pretty small and some looked like mattress's on the floor however they were actually futons, comfy enough however just a little on the small side. Rooms were a good size though and there were 3 showers, which made getting ready pretty easy with 16 girls. James and staff were helpful throughout the organisation and I would strongly recommend vine street studios for those of u looking for a big pad in a central location. Car parking for 2 cars on site is also good. Large deposit, however understandable when u see the place. We got all our deposit back, as we left it in a clean and tidy state. Would rate Vine Street 4/5 overall
